We bought this for my 3 cats, 3yo to 3mo. One of them loves running water and will hop in the bathtub and beg for the faucet to be turned. She was so excited for this and immediately began to drink. The other 2 checked it out right away and later came to drink. It is quiet and sounds like a fountain or rain unless water is getting low, then you can hear the pump. I haven't tried to clean it yet, but so far worth it. I hope it lasts. Just a common sense fyi: it is electric, so there should be an alternate source of water in case of a ower outage!!!UPDATE: cleans easily and still running well!!! Kittahs love it

Update 2: The company very quickly contacted me and arranged to send me a new pump for the fountain. It has arrived and my cat once again has flowing water. I”m impressed by the great customer service and would order from them again.Update!!! Just a couple of days after I posted a 5 star review my fountain stopped working. Thinking it was out of water I opened it to add water and change the filter. First, the filters that Amazon recommended were far too big so ...no filter. Then putting the old one back in and adding more water...there was still water in it, I plugged it in and it still didn’t work. Nothing moving at all. The pump was worn out after 1 month of use. So my disappointed kitty and I will have to buy another one and hope it is better made. Original review: My cat loves the moving water of the fountain. It didn’t take her anytime at all to figure out what it was for. It was easy to put together and works perfectly.

We received this around September 28th of 2019. It stopped working around December 20th of 2019. This product was great for the almost 3 months it worked.It appears that the pump no longer works.It took our cat a little while to get used to it, but it cut down on the intrusion while washing dishes, brushing teeth, washing hands, etc.I would not recommend this product and I would not purchase this product again. Had this item lasted more than a year or two, hands down, I would recommend and buy it again. Seems like a pretty short life for a $15 item. Disappointed to say the least.

This fountain felt pretty cheap right from the start, but it didn't start to show just HOW cheap it was until a while after I set it up. It got clogged easily for no reason I could figure out and then wasn't very easy to clean. It didn't assemble easily, either, which made it more of a pain to clean it when it got clogged. Finally, about a year after I bought it, the pump totally failed. I'm really disappointed.I don't recommend this fountain. I strongly suggest getting a more expensive, higher quality one and skipping this one.

This is so cute. One of my cats loves drinking out of faucets and playing with water. He walked right up to it and drank from it, so I'm happy.The fountain arrived promptly and looks like the photo.It's very quiet. You can hear a slight trickling noise. It does get a little water on the mat but not enough to be a hassle. When you put it together, make sure the bottom of the fountain lid connects with the top of the pump (look down the hole), and raise the yellow flower up. My dogs drink from it occasionally, too.

We bought this for a mouser cat we have at the office. Bubby was at first timid with it, but by the end of the day he was fine. This allows us to leave plenty of water of a weekend and the water is still fresh. Even added a few ice cubes in the bottom for cool water also. Great buy.

My older cat went right to it because she loves to drink from a running faucet. My young kitty was cautious at first but after watching the older one she decided it must be safe. Now they drink from it several times a day. I believe they are drinking more water than ever before which is really a great thing since cats tend to get urinary track infections very easily if they don't drink enough. I love it as much as they do!

I use this for my cat, and she absolutely loves it. She drinks far more water than she drank before I bought this, which is very good for her health. It took a few moments for her to figure out how to use it, which was very cute. The filter included is shoddy, extremely cheap, and does near nothing to filter water. The much higher quality filters available on Amazon for this very likely filter the water cleaner than from the tap. After cleaning and refilling the tank, my cat waits a couple of hours until her water is clean. Or the chlorine smell is gone. I don't know. I'm not a cat. All I know is she loves this device.It is also very quiet.
