Best on the Market
These markers have vibrant color and each stroke blends with the stroke before! In other words there are no streaks! They are worth the extra money!! As far as bleeding through, it's not a marker issue. They all bleed through, so always place something behind the paper that you're working on to protect the surface or the next page. 🙂

The Item arrived on time, and in great condition. The box was still factory sealed and no markers had been opened. I would say that this is a great starter kit for beginning artist, as it helps you get an understanding of alcohol markers and how to use them. Prismacolor does a great job with its color pigment and vibrancy(especially if used on paper intended for markers), and makes a great marker alternative for those who can't afford or don't like Copics .This set is a basic set, and provides you with a good variety for warm and cool tone colors. If you are in fact an experienced artist, I would say to buy some Prisma markers with the brush tips and bullet ends on them. They blend together better and look smoother. Just a heads up though for those looking to save a buck, these markers do not have a commercial refill available. Once used up you either have to toss them or refill with %100 alcohol for a diluted color. so invest wisely and do some research before making a purchase.

Beautiful Colors, But…
The colors are beautiful. I purchased them to color some wood designs I purchased. However, I am having the hardest time taking the caps off. I’m not elderly or partial weak. Maybe I’m an idiot and just not opening them correctly?

Be careful to use only THICK paper
I’m using two different paper weights, and bleeding through happened on both. The color swatches were done on 50 pound paper and bled through on the back and on the next sheet of paper beneath it. When I used the markers on 140 pound Bee watercolor paper - the flowers, it bled through a lot less. I make greeting cards so the bleed through is a problem. The box they come in isn’t great to store them in, it’s flimsy and the markers get hung up on the inner flap on the bottom that keeps the box shut (better get a pencil pouch or mug to store them). Half the colors are rather opaque. I found they didn’t blend very well. They advertise these as PRIMARY. Very strong, bold colors.

Never fails to impress.
Vibrant colors, two different ends, pointed and wide. Easy to use, doesn’t smear, Prisma markers never fail

Adult colouring book markers
I recently got an adult colouring book as a gift, what a great stress reliever it is. But I got colour pencil with it. Me being a perfectionist I like Rich colour and the pencils were not doing it justice so I looked online for some art markers and these were recommended. Now I tried to choose between the chisel and the brush tip and ended up choosing the chisel because they were cheaper and everyone I asked said it was personal preference. I'm glad I did choose the chisel, the tip has multiple angles that you can use for colouring. I love these markers. They do bleed through in my colouring book, which is a thick card stock so be careful. I pick my pictures that I like and end up loosing the picture on the back but that's a small price to pay for pretty pictures. The colours that come in the package are great, good range. I couldn't be happier.

There are a lot of different sets under the same listing so for the purpose of clarity I'm referring specifically to the 12 color set. As you may already know, these are.... •Alcohol based •Non refillable •Do NOT have a brush tip, but instead a chisel and slender round tip. Other things of interest: •I was able to blend them with both Copic and Spectrum Noir (how well I blended them is up for debate). •I used Cansons marker pad. Yes, they bleed through. • The Copic (Light Mahogany) I mixed with Prismacolor (Crimson Red) is not very close in color (sorry), but it did make me notice something kinda intersting that maybe a Copic aficionado can explain: why does the Copic look so speckled and bleh next to the Prisma? • They coordinate really well with with Prismacolor pencils. However, Dark Umber is much darker in pencil form and redder in marker form. And I mixed up "pink rose" with "pink ( "rose" in french) hence the initial difference between the pinks.

Brilliant items
Brilliant product, and very vibrant! They do leak through to other sides of the paper. So be mindful of that, but they are great!
