This the first item I've ever reviewed but felt it performed so well I wanted to express my opinion of this antenna. I've recently cut my Comcast cable and retained only my internet service. I have a Roku and Apple TV on my sets and have tried several OTA antennas to pull in network broadcast stations. I am around 40 miles from the closest stations in Charlottesville VA . Indoor leaf style antennas will pull in CBS, Fox, NBC and CW along with 3 PBS stations. I wanted to try for more and after reading the positive reviews decided to buy this antenna and give it a try. I mounted it on a pole and have it only about 6 ft. off the ground and pointed toward the stations (218 degrees). After a couple repositions am now pulling in 15 stations. Closest station is about 30 miles and farthest more than 50 miles away. Can now get everything I was getting with the leaf in addition to ABC, 3 additional PBS stations, a couple dedicated weather stations and a few others. And all have 2 to 4 strength bars out of 5 showing on the TV info screen. I am Very satisfied and a bit surprised it pulls from those distances. The inline amp seems to be a necessity since removing it dropped some stations. All in all, a worthwhile purchase and very pleased.

The antenna is great. Bought and installed it for a friend who is very happy with it. Only reason for lacking 5 stars is that a part was missing and first contact with the manufacturer resulted in denial and buck passing to Amazon. But then the manufacturer did send me the missing part. The installation went smoothly. Only needed to add the coax cable which is very understandable as who knows how much or how little a particular installation would require.

Nice, compact and light to resist wind damage. Very powerful, pulls in signals from long distances. Super deal for those who can get tv free off air without having to pay high costs of Dish or cable tv!! This antenna is far more expensive at other outlets, at least twice the cost of what you pay here. I live in an area that is hard to get digital signals. My old huge Channel Master antenna was great for analog but didn't do so well with the new digital signal. I was only able to get three maybe four channels. I took a chance on this one, put it up, scanned for channels and picked up 16 channels from over 50 miles away! And the signal strength, according to the Samsung TV we have, was at full strength where before with the CM it was only two to three bars and that was with a signal amplifier! My friend was so impressed that I bought him one and put it up with an antenna rotor. He lives just up the road and his place has less obstructive trees around. I was able to pick up 36 different channels! NBC, CBS, Fox, PBS, CW and all of their sub channels! Take that Dish and Direct!! Buy it . . . you will not be sorry you did!

Just received this antenna today and did not want to wait to give my review. I must say I am really impressed with how many channels I was able to receive. I rarely write reviews but this one deserves it. I live in a condo complex and did not want to have issues with the hoa so that's why I decided to go for this look cause it blends in good with the direct TV dishes already on the roof. If you hate disruption when viewing a show or program then you must get this, the indoors antenna's just don't perform as well. I had a less expensive outdoor model in our other home but it didn't look as nice but worked wonders also, I really think that the fact that the antenna sits outside makes it perform much better. Set up and installation was pretty easy. Would recommend if you are tired of paying for cable but still want to watch TV with a great signal.

Very stylish good looking antenna, good antenna was 22 channels but was hoping to get one other local channel but for some reason I can't. I built my own eight Bay bowtie antenna that works almost as good as this one. I may yet do some fine-tuning as well as raisin it up to 30 feet in the air right now it sits about 20 feet in their 30 is recommended.

This outdoor antenna has been great in bringing in many more channels than we had with an indoor antenna. The pictures are clear. In fact, they look clearer than what we got with satellite TV. The only problem we had was a missing part when the antennae was delivered. Amazon was not able to provide us with that part but did refund half the cost of the antenna to us when we decided to try and find the missing piece on our own. We did find the part at Home Depot. My husband and I are so happy that we finally got rid of the high cost of Dish TV, paying for channels we never watched and didn't care for. With our new antenna, the many channels we receive with that and also Apple TV, we really enjoy TV now! And no big monthly bills anymore!!

The best antenna with nice aesthetics. In Springfield MA area, it pulls in 35 stations most of them hi-def. The farthest away is channel 19-1, 19-2, 19-3 in Albany, NY. 71 miles away as the crow flies. Signal strength on that station is an acceptable 63%. I originally mounted it inside the house which received 29 stations. It is now mounted on the roof for a total now of 35 stations. The signal enters the house thru the old cable wire and is sent to all rooms in the house. I also have a PVR with hard drive to record OTA programs. Why pay for cable when the best shows are free.

The antenna itself works really well, currently I have it mounted in the attic of my house and it picks up about 70 channels in my area. I was going to mount it on top of the roof, but found I got just as good as signal in the attic as outside and decided to hide it. This antenna gives me an extra 20 or so channels from my in house rabbit ears I was using.I did have an issue where a piece was missing in the original shipment, the metal pole portion of the mast wasn't sent with the rest of the Antenna. I didn't knock the rating as the seller was really quick to get another one sent to me.In the end, I am very happy with this product.
