Sulky Sliver Metallic Thread for Sewing, 250-Yard, Silver

This is my second time ordering this and my gosh do I love it! I couldn't find quality yarn that had the sparkle that I was looking for. So after doing some research, I took a chance on this and there's no looking back! I use it in conjunction with yarn that I love and it adds such a nice sparkle to my knitted projects. I made my niece a Santa hat and fingerless gloves using this and she LOVES them! Will continue to buy this again and again!

I use this for my cross stitch, embroidery, decorative edging and to add sparkle to my crochet projects. I haven't had any issues with breakage or splitting, which I was first worried about from other reviews, in spite of my normally tight tension on my works. Love it!

Shiny, strong metallic thread. It's pretty thin and fine. However it worked fine in my machine. I used it with felt

Very lovely thread. I am happy with my purchase. No damage to the product and it arrived right on time.

I found it difficult to work with. It is extremely fine and feels like plastic. I had a lot of difficulty making a knot in it for hand sewing. Before I even got six inches of sewing done the thread knotted itself, which I couldn't unknot. I was forced to cut the knot and start again.

Has beautiful shimmer on my quilt. Works great on my domestic machine.

Great thread. However I would not recommend using it on your sewing machine. It does have a tendency to get tight and then let go creating a tangled mess under your spool of thread.

Quick shipping! Great product. I use it for hair tinsel instead of dishing out $10 for like 20 strands of the "hair bling"

Way too difficult to be used as cannot see, also not very strong snaps easily. Was meant to hand decs up but ended up using cotton thread instead

I absolutely love the look of this thread! Much more vibrant in person than in pictures. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because when I tried to find the end piece, I pulled the wrong side apparently, and made a huge, annoying knotty mess! Not sure how I'm going to fix it yet... Just make sure you pull the correct side...
