I found the knife I was looking for!
I purchased this knife because my other chef knife that came with my set fell apart (the handle came off). I use my chef's knife more than any other knife and basically for everything so I needed one I thought would hold up.The knife came beautifully packaged in a magnet-snapped, velvet-like lined box which makes it perfectly gift-able as well. (pictured) It is a standard sized chef knife with a handle that looks like it isn't going anywhere soon! (pictured) Upon holding and using the knife, it is the correct weight and is well balanced. It is very sharp (Watch those fingers!) and cuts beautifully through all fruits, veggies, and meats!

It's a knife it cuts it holds its Edge, rough handle.
The handle became very rough and unfinished rather quickly admittedly probably because of the dishwasher or sink time, the hollow ground is barely noticeable and the grooves on either side of the blade are not functional. It's still a good sharp piece of metal that can be sharpened and maintains its Edge, but not comparable to my other santoku. If you don't have a knife it's a fine Chopper although stuff sticks like you would not believe. I was doing zucchini and they stopped up to three high on the blade, kind of funny but you can incorporate that limitation into your routine by wiping the blade off after every couple of cuts. On the other hand I wasn't paying attention one day and slice not only through the lettuce at a very fine shred, but the top of my fingernail at an equally fine Shred. It did not slow down 3/10 would not repeat. I would give the edge a seven out of ten and the blade a five, not great but not horrible.

Poorly riveted
The knife itself is not overall bad. Although it is more bendable than any knife should be it does what it is made yo do. The riveting holding the handles onto the blade are not well aligned and stick out more on one side then on the other making the knife fit oddly in ones hand

This knife is real cool, it came out of the package very sharp and has a heavy professional feel to the whole knife. I was looking for a sort of french meets german as far as shape design for a chefs knife and this one checked the boxes for me. The handle is a bit bulkier than i prefer for my hands (im like a womens L in gloves), but its not uncomfortable at all. Yep she sharp AF. also, the bolts that are in the handle are not sanded completely down well so you can kind of feel them.

The best veggie chopping knife!
I love this knife! Wonderful, amazing sharp edge. Very well-balanced. For me, it’s the perfect weight as well. I emailed the seller to find out what degree the bevel is and he answered immediately that it’s 14° angle on each side. I chopped up tons and tons of veggies with this knife this week-end. My wrist doesn’t hurt and my thumb doesn’t hurt, which amazing because I have arthritis in my wrist and thumb. The hollowed niches in the blade really do keep the veggies from sticking to the knife edge.

Great knife for the price
Bought this knife because needed another one in kitchen. The handle is large and has some weight to it which I love. I have cheap one and it no where near quality of this knife. Love it so does my daughter.

Be Careful, Knife is Very Sharp
As the headline states, the knife is very sharp. I cut the tip of my nails on the first day. I was looking for something to replace the old dull knife that I bought from Walmart. This knife was perfect for me. The grip is well designed and easy to handle. The blade itself is very solid, sharp and has a good weight to it. I would recommend it.

knife broke in the washing machine
I was enjoying the knife, it had good weight distribution, only almost all the color came off handle due to constant use of dish-washing machine, which is kind of expected. Then one day unloading the washing machine I saw the blade broke. It only lasted 9 months, while ones bought in Walmart are still doing fine after many years.
