KICKER 46CSS654 CS-Series CSS65 6.5-Inch (160mm) Component System with .75-inch tweeters, 4-Ohm (Pair)

I knew that my stock speakers in my Toyota Corolla were nothing to write home about, but after installing the component set with the 6.5 inch woofers and tweeters, I am shocked how much clearer the sound is. In my opinion, the slightly more complex install with the separate tweeters is well worth it. To have the extra detail in the mids and highs at ear level makes it so much more fun to listen to music in the car. I combined them with a matching set of 6x9 coaxials in the back, and a small, powered sub under my driver seat. The system is absolutely perfect for my needs, and everything but the sub runs off of the integrated amp in the head unit. This is a very respectable set of speakers that took me by surprise.

Put these in a car I ended up selling. I went with a different set this time and wish I’d gone with these. Great quality, I would definitely pair them with a sub though. You want be disappointed with these.

Great speakers. Sound is good. Now the covers will stay on and not fall at my feet like my old speakers.

Haven’t connected it to my amp yet, but so far it’s been playing the lows that my system desperately needed. Still dialing it in but my radio now is supplying 50 watts rms per channel so it could sound better with more power. I would recommend having adjustability to keep the signals going into the speakers proper. You don’t too much lows for the tweeters and too much highs for the woofer. Decent setup. No distortions so far. Also like how both of these can go to one channel for your amp.

These speakers sound really good. There are all the connections you need, and the built-in crossover is nice. Keep in mind that you will need to bundle up the extra wires and crossover/gain box and leave it sitting in your door. I went from 25 year old coaxial Kickers to these component speakers, and I also installed sound deadening in the door, so it's hard to compare them. I definitely like the sound, though!

I am completely satisfied with the performance of these speakers. You really can’t beat the value.

I have these Kicker speakers on an amp and I run about 100 watts RMS to each channel. Clear the tweeters are crisp and bright and I have no complaints whatsoever I've had them in for 4 years and they still sound fantastic listening to them at max volume every time I'm in the car.
