Comfortable
I purchased these socks because I have been treated for phlebitis and wanted to prevent the return of that condition. I wear these socks at work and I'm very pleased with them. The fact that they are made out of regular sock material instead of hosery material like other compression socks, makes these socks much more comfortable. I wear size 7.5 shoe and I purchased two pair in size small. The fit is good. The socks stay up on the leg, so I'm not constantly pulling them up throughout the day. The most important feature, is the fact that my feet, ankles, or any part of my leg, are not swollen at the end of a long day of standing and walking at work, which is not the case when I'm not wearing these socks. My legs are also not as tired feeling at the end of the day if I wore the Travelsox socks to work. I plan to purchase two more pair.

Support without sliding down
I like that these socks are very supportive, yet not an impossible task to put on. They stay up all day and don't sag at all. I've purchased these a few times and have increased my stock so that when I wash a pair or two, I have backup pairs until the wash is done. Very good socks over many others I have tried.

Prevented leg swelling on 8 hr flight + 4 hr delay
These were perfect on my trip to Europe this summer. They give a perfect amount of support without being restrictive or difficult to put on/take off. They reduced my usual traveler's leg swelling to almost nothing. I would have liked a little more even compression from the top of the foot through the ankle - the top/arch of the foot are pretty snug and then the compression increases at the top of the ankle and up the calf. It seemed to crease at the ankle where the compression eased a little. However the support through the calf resulted in almost no swelling in my ankles or foot. Plenty of room in the toes to allow for easy movement

No more jelly legs
These socks are recommended for "Economy Class Syndrome" or deep vein thrombosis when people get stuck in long flights in cramped seats with little opportunity to get up and walk around. They are available in sizes; I got large and the color I bought was grey, which is a medium cadet grey, not a charcoal grey. The ankle area has more ribbing, for extra compression. This is a nice design.I first started wearing compression socks when I had a job that required frequent overseas travel. Once, after a 10 hour flight from Frankfurt to San Francisco, I had to stand in a line 2 hours (yes, 2 hours) to get on a bus to go pick up the rental car. Ask me how happy I was about that. I nearly passed out and my legs felt like sacks of jello. They felt like jello as I deplaned and it only got worse. I stopped in a pharmacy in Europe, near where I lived and asked the pharmacist if they had anything for travel, and they had compression socks. The next trip I took was very long, but my legs felt wonderful at the end. What a difference! My doctor also WARNED me about my height and DVT (deep vein thrombosis.) I don't travel quite as much anymore, but now I wear these on long flights, and even on bus trips or car trips, any time I'm sitting too long. When I try to pick up socks like these at the local pharmacy, they are always out of my size or out of them completely. For some reason, they don't stock our local stores very well. So I order these online to get the type I want; I like black ones rather than tan, as they look nicer under my clothes if I'm wearing black shoes. These are grey, which look good with jeans or grey flannel slacks and are very helpful for travel.

Comfortable and supportive
I purchased these compression socks for my upcoming trip to Australia that involves a 17 hour flight. I have never worn compression socks and expected to have to struggle to get them on. These socks were so easy to put on and are very comfortable. I happy I was able to find these compression socks on Amazon. They had an excellent rating.

Not Happy With These Socks
My calves are too big for these socks. When ordering, from what I could glean from the Amazon site, the company's website and Amazon reviews, I believed the largest size would be large enough for my calves. They were quite a bit smaller. I'm not sure of my calf measurement, but I think it is about 20". I had to turn the sock down and wear as a short sock. They may have still helped me on our recent airline flight, but I'm not certain of that, and I also don't know how much better my legs might have felt had the socks actually fit as described. There were brands on Amazon that had specific measurements that included my calf size (looked fairly unattractive, however), and I would be looking for a product like that in the future. If my calves were quite a bit smaller, I might have loved these socks. They look and feel fine when wearing. I am disappointed with my purchase and the information available to make an accurate choice/decision.

They Work Well for Swelling
We travel a lot with flights up to 18 hours. Lately I have been having a problem with my ankles swelling, and it takes a day or two for them to go down. These socks have stopped the swelling. They are relatively easy to put on for compression socks. They aren't like compression hose that you have to struggle and struggle to pull them over you heel. I am a 5'4" woman and wear an 8 1/2 shoe size. The sock is a good fit, but they are a little long for me. I simply fold down the top so they are just below my knee. They are still comfortable, but the best part is my ankles don't swell anymore.

Really comfortable, mild compression
My doctor recommended compression socks for health and travel, but I didn't like being gouged by orthopaedists so I've been trying Amazon. I'm a size 14 and chose XL for sizes 13.5 to 16. They don't provide as much compression as others, expected with my size on the low end of the scale, but since the compression starts mid-foot they also don't crush my toes, and the material is far more comfortable and "sock-like." I also get restless legs at night, and time will tell but so far they seem to be helping that too. I've been wearing this first pair for two full days now, and though I didn't expect to love them, I'm about to order 2 more pairs.
