Way better than zip ties!
We use these to hang decorations on our stair railing, and they work great! In years past, we’ve used zip ties. These are a great alternative, that requires no cutting and can be used year after year. The send very sturdy and can hold several pounds. The black color matches our black railing.

Good item
Very useful. Can cut to various lengths.

Good straps, but the length is not as advertised.
I removed one star due to the fact the actual strap length is 22", NOT 24". Today was the first time that 2" difference became a problem and I was not able to use these straps, so just a simple warning. These straps work great for keeping the rubber screen protector on my Hummingbird fish finders.

Handy little product , little different but good
They are a little different than the velcro straps I used for years but after getting used to the latching process, they seem to work extremely well. The cost per strap is very good. I highly recommend making up several on your first go round and have them handy.

What a Great Idea! Endless Uses!
I bought these specifically for keeping my pressure washer's trigger in the on position while I work. The smallest strap is absolutely perfect for that. The design is also perfect -- with the buckle you can tighten down the strap snugly and then secure the Velcro. Great purchase!

Velcro Straps (variety pack)
All different sizes of durable Velcro straps. They have kept my bike together when shipped and kept the foam in the correct locations.

>>> DOES THE JOB --- depending on what you want to use them for
GOOD FOR "BELTS" > Actually usable as clothing belts, particularly for children. You could wear (appropriate sizes) as garters to protect your pants when cycling or too keep out bugs when hiking. Can be used as watch bands. Could be used to hold bandages, or ice packs, in place. Might even work as emergency tourniquets for a first aid kit. You could use them as dog collars. Could be used as halters for small children on leashes. You could use them to hold a box closed, or to keep two pieces of gear together for packing, etc. > The (~2") "spiky" (hook) section is never on the outside, and so will not scrape your skin or damage clothing, etc. > Note that each size of YiwerDer "belt" has only a limited range of use (rather like men's leather belts). If what you want to fasten together is just a little too large, or a little too small, you are completely out of luck. POOR FOR "CABLE TIES" > You can NOT attach a YiwerDer "belt" to an electrical cord, cable, garden house etc, so that they will stay in place when the cord/cable/hose is in use, but be available when you want to bundle-up the cord/cable/hose. > Each YiwerDer "belt" has a minimum capacity (i.e., minimum diameter they can be used on -- depending on the size). In comparison, ordinary hook & loop (Velcro) cable ties have NO minimum capacity. > You can NOT shorten a YiwerDer "belt" (with a pair of scissors, etc.). In comparison, you CAN shorten an ordinary hook & loop (Velcro) cable tie. WHY? > The "inside" side of YiwerDer "belts" is neither hook nor loop (Velcro) -- it is just a "smooth" belt. The "outside" side begins with about 2" of "spiky" (hook) material, while the remainder is the "velvety" (loop) material. In comparison, ordinary hook & loop (Velcro) cable ties are spiky (hooks) on one side and velvety (loops) on the other.

The plastic buckle broke the first time I used one of the straps. The hook & loop work fine, but the buckles aren't robust.
