Easy to set up and great device
Super easy to set up. Comes with two lights (white and mixed changing colours) but you can only use one. The lights come on automatically after dark. The battery charges up during the day and powers the lights and pump throughout. The pump is surprisingly powerful and comes with an array of different heads to change the type of flow you want.It also has a remote to switch the pump and lights on and to change the flow of water without having to go to the main unit. The only issue is that the remote is a bit flimsy. My remote broke in a week.

Efficient pump providing a large fountain for its size.
I was little surprised to find that the second aperture on the battery 'house' for the lights didn't have a socket (?). So I'm unable to plug in both light units and must choose one or the other. Both apertures are labelled lights but the socket unit only provides the pump socket and one light socket. The second is blanked off. Did I get the wrong battery unit? The remote control works well and also controls the flow of water which is more that ample for a 66cm diameter pebble unit in which it's installed. Anything above the lowest two settings causes the mountain to spread beyond the unit. However the rise tube is a little too short to place the pump on the bottom of the 90 litre sump which is about 33cm deep, but I had expected this to be a minor problem.

Nice pump and panel
I bought this to replace a failed pump that ran a trickle fountain over a stainless steel ball. It replaced a 200lph pump and performs just about the same, maybe a little more flow. Installation was easy, the only issue being that (as others have mentioned) there are 2 light rings supplied and 2 sockets in the battery box but one is blanked off. The remote happily changes the flow rate. The pump turns itself off occasionally but otherwise all good so far

It’s rubbish
This product is rubbish, the water flow is terrible, I barely get a trickle. My water feature has an 800mm head, this stupid thing barely gets a trickle through. Not nearly 250l/h as stated. And for 80£ are u kidding me. 3 days of almost solid sunshine just charging the battery, (no usage) and still it’s the same. Very disappointed.

Not as good as I expected, considering the cost.
I received this pump in good time. But I'm sorry to say that it has been a letdown. The little remote was broken. The dial that adjusts the rate of flow just keeps turning with very little control over the rate of flow. Also it doesn't keep it's charge. So all in all not what I wanted. I shall be seeking to return this at the soonest opportunity.

A good hardy little thing
I have this in my little pond and it's working a treat. I use the smaller head on it but it can go bigger. It was easy to set it all up and even on a overcast day its working and charging the battery. It's just right

A great buy!
Nothing not to like about this product. I’ve installed it in a small water feature and the water bubbles up through the centre of a stone flower. I mounted the solar panel on top of a pergola to keep it out of sight and there was ample cable for that. The remote works well. All good.
