This mattress is thick and so comfortable. I don't have a problem falling asleep anymore. It's like a soft hug. So very comfortable.

I bought this to replace the mattress on my futon when I moved into my new apartment and would be sleeping on it like a bed every night. My main concern was being able to feel the frame of the futon through the mattress - which is why I was replacing the old mattress, and disappointingly you can feel the frame a little bit. But for the price point, it's fairly decent. It fit the frame like expected, and as a couch is super comfortable! I also love the color!

Large, thick futon mattress. Suede like material appears to hold up well. Brown color hides stains, as it is being used in a man-cave. Definitely need two people to install the mattress in the futon.

This mattress seems to be made of good quality. It sets comfortably once on the futon. The problem we have is the top of the mattress is stained. Not on one but several places. For the extra price you pay to get a better quality mattress it's disappointing to receive a 'new' mattress that looks as if it has been used and returned. The reason we bought a new mattress is because our old one was stained. So, this is really just a waste of money! Wouldn't recommend this mattress if you are looking for brand new.

I wanted a futon that would be comfortable to sleep on. I was not disappointed. I usually keep the futon folded for seating, and like most futons, the shape means it doesn't have great back support without a pillow, but with a pillow or two, it's great for sitting too. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Purchased this to go with the futon frame we bought. One of my concerns was some of the reviews about the smell of the mattress. It has a new item smell to it, but nothing like what some of the other reviews said. No one in my family noticed it and when I pointed it out they didn't think it was bad at all. So far so good.

UPDATE: We received this mattress on Jan. 13th 2017 and as of the end of June it was hurting our backs despite flipping and turning the mattress it compressed and never fluffed back up. This would be better as a guest bed mattress or as a couch so long as no one will be camped out on it for too long. We opened it and left it sit on our frame for a day or 2 & it fluffed up to just over 8". Considering our old mattress over the years compressed down to only being an inch to 1 1/2 inches of "padding" on our platform frame, this mattress is a blessing! It is both firm and soft. (there is plenty of luxury / softness as it isn't like sleeping on the hardwood floor yet it has plenty of much-needed support). If you're looking for a comfortable mattress w/o springs and you want one that won't smell like formaldehyde - or worse - then buy this one! It suits both of our comfort needs (He likes softer mattresses and I prefer ones with more support... we are BOTH really happy with this mattress!) I bookmarked this company & product so in the future when we need a mattress for the natural wood frame we're finishing for a couch in the living room, we will buy another one of these mattresses!

glad i ordered the fatty..brand new we will see what she's got..a lot of people were commenting on the fumes..i had no issymue with mine..it sat in the box waiting for its frame for a week..but yeah..once i popped it outta the wrapper it got to its size shape within an hour more or less..
