Best puppy food for a labrador
I have a new puppy and was very confused by all the different dog foods on the market, Raw food, dehydrated food, the unkibble food etc. I talked to my vet, and she suggested this food for my new puppy. She told me to watch all the gimmicky foods being advertised as there are no regulations on what is being produced, and to never feed my dog raw food as there are bacterial infections being transffered to their owners. After debate, I tried this royal canin. My dog went nuts for this food. She bounces up and down barking for this food. As I was mixing in her old kibble with it during the transition, she somehow eats only the royal canin and leaves behind the old food and will not eat it. I think this is a glowing endorsement. Her stool are also solid and firm. No more runny stools. I highly recommend this food.

Highly recommend
Our breeder recommended this for our lab pup. We get the automatic delivery from Amazon which saves quite a lot of money. Our now grown lab has the shiniest, most beautiful coat Iβve ever seen. Well worth the money.

Highly recommend!
Our Tazman really enjoys this food and his growth is right on track, well 5 1/2 months old and he's 50.2 lbs. But happy owners and happy pup

Not a gimmick- actually good dog food!
I thought the "specially shaped" kibble was a gimmick, but it seems to do the trick in slowing down gulping quite well. Our fairly active labrador puppy eats this food without a complaint, and it treats his system well- unlike some other foods.

Finally found THE food that works best for my Lab puppy!
I rarely review items, let alone give them 5 stars. This food has help my puppy Khaleesi, Mother of Dragons, tremendously. We love our silver lab and only wanted to give her the best. After my weeks of research before we got her I bought into the grain-free online jargon and started her on blue wilderness. It gave her the runs for months. Went to Taste of the Wild with the same results. Our vet told us to keep her on RC gastrointestinal puppy RX food which we did. Its obsurdly overpriced but help solidify her stools. Hoping that something else more reasonable has to good for our girl, I stuck with RC and tried this. Her stools are great and her coat gets compliments all the time on how soft it is. The kibble shape really does help my lab not inhale her food so fast. She chews it. Great for her teeth. Some may argue the ingredients aren't great because they contain wheat, some fillers and what not. All I know my lab feels full after eating the recommended daily amount so she doesn't beg throughout the day excessively. I really can't argue with the results!Amazon's price is reasonable and Prime shipping makes it a winning deal. Khalessi and I are greatful to finally find a food that she enjoys and is obviously keeping her as healthy and happy.

My lab/springer mix loves it!
I waited a while (2 months) before reviewing this so I could get a good idea of how my pup would take to it. I am pleased to say he absolutely devours this stuff. I had him on Nutro Max for a while and his stool was runny and yellowish in color. After switching over his stool is firm and consistent. He is a 4 month and 1 week old Black Labrador and Springer Spaniel mix. He's eating around 3 cups a day and he's grown from 11 pounds when we got him (2 months ago) to a healthy 27lbs at 4 months and 1 week of age. He gains right around 10lbs a month, which is what the vet said is expected. His eyes are clear, coat is soft and shiny. I haven't noticed any yellow spots forming in the grass like some other posters said. The only time that happens is if I miss a spot when using the pooper scooper and it sits for a while. Overall I would highly recommend it to anyone!
