QUIQLITEPRO Family

This is an update on the product after a couple of years of use and a previous review.. I still like this product and continually use it, but it seems to have one design flaw (which prompted me to purchase a new one recently): The light itself easily slides out of the MOLLE- compatible clip. My previous one is now probably in the hands of a capable flight attendant when it slid off the clip on a flight. I've noticed it a couple of times but was always able to find/catch it before it became lost. Still worth the money, just be careful if you place it on the outside of packs and the like that you're sliding around.

I bought the light and added it to my vest to help light up dark areas while taking reports. It’s been on my vest for about a month when it broke out of no where.

I work the night shift and this thing is invaluable to anyone who has to write reports and you don't want to stick your flashlight in your armpit. Click the light on and you have both hands free to do your work. The only flaw I can tell it the top part of the light is clear so when you click it on it is probably going to shine in your face. I didn't like that so I put a black piece of tape over it and it now functions perfectly.

THIS ONE IS NIT A RECHARGEABLE VERSION. You want a quiqlite x for that. This still works well. Just needs cr 2025 button cells.If you work a night shift, you will most likely use this a lot. 40 hrs of runtime goes fast and not being able to recharge in the go isn't the best option.Blue contrasts well and doesn't flood out text (red light, though great for night vision, makes red text hard to read)Where you gonna get button cell batteries at 330 AM in the middle of the county?I'll keep it anyway, but will be considering an X model.

I have owned one of these lights for years. It was amazing, until it broke. Now I can't replace it because the brightness of the new ones doesn't even come close.This isn't 10 - 20 lumens, it's more like 10 - 11 lumens. It's way too dim.The picture says 20 - 150 lumens. Absolutely false advertising. I would say it barely pushes 10 lumens.It might work for the average person, just not me. I prefer bright flashlights, not ones that only work ok when it's pitch black.

I purchased this as part of a surprise gift for my fiancé when he was promoted. It has a very slim profile and clipped nicely to the front of his vest that has the Molle setup. He works night shift and the pivot light is GREAT! It makes reading DLs and any other paperwork a breeze without tying up his hands. Also the adaptability for wearing Class A uniforms and it being able to fit in a pocket and still work is a HUGE plus. I will purchase this again.

Pretty low quality light, does not secure well to your gear, molle or just in a pocket. The light is too dim unless directly on what you're illuminating. Not durable at all, likely to break from a light breeze. Only positive is that it was cheap and shipped quickly.

Love it. My first Quiklite lasted almost 10 years. Had to replace a couple batteries but it is a solid product. I think the older product is slightly better built. But you need this item if you do traffic stops and contacts at night. It doesn’t affect your night vision and being hands free is extremely important. I turn this on when searching cars or trunks and need to be hands free. I would recommend the 75 lumens model as it is more versatile.
