This is a great cup. It is well designed and pretty much exactly as described. For anyone wondering, the "ball" is made from a sturdy plastic that floats. It is not soft or squishy. I read a previous review where someone cracked the bottom of their cup by shaking/making their drink .... but they must have been shaking really HARD to do that because between the ball, and the honeycomb shaped divider that goes between the lid and the drink, you don't really need to shake all that hard to make a drink with this cup. The meal powder that I use absorbs quickly in water and doesnt require much agitation so I dont understand how they broke their cup by skaing it unkess their powder clumps up easily🤔 another point I want to make is that I am concerned about the mouth piece. The part that flips up and snaps back in place to close the drink shut is 'flimsy'. Maybe that is the wrong word, but I am concerned that after lots of use it will end up leaking or breaking completely. Other than that I appreciate its generous size, carrying handle, and especially love the compartment on the bottom to store dry powder! Genius idea!

Shaker bottles don't last long with me. I'll either lose parts (such as the shaker ball), or lose the entire thing, or the lid will start leaking, or the bottle will crack (in the sun, or because I drove over it). The list goes on. Surprisingly, my water bottles last forever. Go figure. So I bought these shaker bottles because they were inexpensive and had good ratings, and also because they came as a pair (in case I lose one right away). I didn't have high expectations, but I expected something "good enough". My expectations were smashed: Already these shaker bottles have proven to be one of my best sports accessory purchases *EVER*. First, I didn't even notice these bottles had that storage cup on the bottom. I've always mixed my shake before going to work, then it sat all day at work, and continued to sit while I did my workout after work, until I finally drank it immediately after my workout. Having the powder stored dry makes for a **MUCH** tastier protein shake! It's really night and day. The storage cup is secure (won't come off accidentally), and it seals very well. It also holds plenty of shake powder. Having it is a very pleasant surprise, already making this shaker bottle a much better value. Second, the shaker system, consisting of a bladed ball and a top screen, does a fantastic job. Literally 3 seconds of shaking and it's ready, with no clumps whatsoever. What I like best is that this system never gets those dry bits of power stuck in the corners: It's all in the shake, meaning cleanup is just a quick rinse and air-dry. Third, the flip-up stopper seals perfectly and doesn't hold drips. I've had stoppers that had drops of shake cling to them, only to land on my nose and run down my face. Yuck. Not a problem here! The stopper is hydrophobic, and hardly even gets wet. Since even a 5-star review should appear to be balanced and fair, I did find one minor quirk: You must add the powder last, after the water, ball and screen are in the bottle. My first time using the bottle I did powder first, then everything else, and I got semi-wet powder stuck in the blades of the ball where they meet in the center. Do the powder last, and that *NEVER* happens. Just buy these things. They're great shaker bottles and a true bargain, punching well above their weight class.

Edited Review: So It's August as of now and I bought my bottles in January 2020 and they are still going great thus, I have changed my rating to 4 stars. The cost of the pair of shaker bottles outweigh the top nuances I listed below. In fact, the last pair I bought and have used them daily (Yes, every day I'm at the gym) haven't leaked and the handles are still attached. Still not 5 star because the tops are difficult to clean by hand but with how cheap they cost, you can just buy a new set every year or longer if you don't go as often as myself. I have yet to find another brand that has a bottom compartment to store my powder in. I can't stress how convenient that is. Original Review: It was worth getting two of these bottles. For the most part, I like how they are designed. The bottom screws off so that you can fill it with things such as protein powder. The bottle isn't narrow enough that you can't fit your hand inside so it's easy to clean. The problem comes with the top. It's garbage. First of all, the handle always breaks off. You can pop it back into the holes but the plastic pops out from a simple tip over sheesh. The cap that covers the opening the fluid comes out of is poorly designed. That piece will break off from it's backing and get stuck in the hole when you flip it up to drink. At first it's fine but the constant opening and closing of that little lid seems to weaken and then the cap just breaks off and gets stuck. Finally, the top is a pain to clean because of unnecessary groovings which are hard to get to with a sponge. Dish washers, you're fine but I wash mine every day by hand so.... Other than that the main reason I use it is for the bottom compartment as I put my powder inside there when I go to the gym. It's convenient for obvious reasons. You get two in this package so when one breaks, you still have the other.

Bought these for my husband’s lunchbox. Ever since the first day they have leaked. He’s tried them with, and without the extra shaker parts, and they still leak. He has to place a piece of paper towel in his lunchbox to soak up the spills. Not too happy. Missed the return window, or probably would have returned them.

Best shaker cups I have ever purchased in my life. Only con is there can be difficulty opening the top lid for some people. Personally I say that speaks to the security of the lid and how leak proof it is. They are shorter and stouter so they don't fit in my cup holders (probably because I don't use the bottom). I toss my water bottle around in the gym and it's never resulted in any damage. Personally I took the shaker ball out, the threaded bottom off, and filters out. I find them pointless. "If a three year old can make nesquik chocolate milk without a shaker ball, you can mix your protein powder without one" is my thoughts.

I really like the concept for the storage under the cup. It is very convenient if you want to take your drink to go, but not mix it yet, or if you are doing different drinks back to back like pre-workout and then amino acids immediately after for during your workout. You can just drink the first one, fill it with the next drink powder from the convenient storage area and then just refill with water. Love this feature! However, there are a couple of things that I am not crazy about. - First, I have a lot of trouble with the lid. It seems really difficult to put the lid on. I don't enjoy fumbling with it at 4:30 in the morning when I am just trying to wake up and quickly drink my pre-workout. - Second, the cap over the mouth is really hard to lock and unlock. Again, not fun to fumble with when you are first waking up or quickly trying to drink during your workout. It does not leak, so that is the benefit. However, I have used other mixer bottles that have lids that are easier to put on/take off and open/close the cap that do not leak. - Lastly, a couple of notes regarding the bottle and what might be personal preference and based on types of drinks you use, but just some things to consider. > Measurements/Size - This is bottle is 24 oz. and includes markers for 24, 16 and 8 oz, along with 700, 500 and 200 ML. All my drinks call for 6-8 oz, 10 oz and 12 oz., so I only use the one 8 oz. measurement and missing the 10 oz. and 12 oz. I never use it to its 24 oz. capacity. Because of this, I find this bottle too bulky. > Strainer - This comes with a strainer to ensure you never get any clumps while drinking. None of my drinks clump up to the extent of needing a strainer and the ball does a fine job of mixing it to prevent it. Therefore, I feel the strainer really isn't needed and just gets in the way... one more thing to clean. I gave this three stars to balance the pros (convenient concept and good price), the cons (annoying lid and mouth cap, missing useful measurements) and considering some personal preferences for general use (bulky size, seemingly unnecessary strainer). In conclusion, I wouldn't mind spending a bit more on a bottle that I really like.

Use for protein shakes because I use protein as a dietary supplement not for working out. Also good at a plain water or juice bottle. Does mix the shake where no clumps appear. The added bottom compartment for an extra shake or maybe vitamins or even a snack I guess is great. Helps when I work 12 hours and need another boost later in the day, regular sized bottle of water fits great and is good mix ratio for one scoop in my opinion, but I'm not someone who uses the words "natty" or "do you even lift bro". I'm just an overworked package donkey who isn't able to eat complete meals all the time and needs to supplement his diet. Would buy again, but honestly it comes with two, and I've only needed one, the other is still in the box it came.

Regalé a mi novio el obscuro y yo me quedé el transparente. Los compré hace 3 meses y al mío ya se le borraron las letras por el uso diario, pero nunca se me ha abierto por accidente, ni escurrido el líquido, de hecho cierra bien y le caben perfecto mis batidos. Por el precio, sí recomiendo.

Love these bottles!! Super durable and leak proof. Mixes my protein powder very well! Also love the measurements on the side of the bottle for liquid and the storage container for when I bring it to work! Steal of a deal that you get 2!

These are really nice! Bought for my husband and son for their protein shakes and they say they work really good, shakes are nice and smooth. They have the plastic ball as well as a filter to help the shaking process. Easy to clean, great size.
