It is flat, sharp and works well and is very affordable. Better and quicker than a stone.

240 grit great for getting deep scratches out of older chisels & plane blades, before polishing.
This 240 grit diamond sharpening plate is great for taking down badly scratched blades, & chisels before using finer stones to polish them up. I attached mine to flat surface to ensure it didn't bend.

No sponge backing, slides all over the place
The first ones I bought, different grits, had spongy grip backing to stay still on worktop.This one does not have any backing. When you try to use it, it slides all over the worktop.

Recondition your stone on the Tormek with greater accuracy and flatness than with the Tormek grader they supply.

The surface scratches very easily. Feels like the bonding of the daimond surface is very poor.

Ha llegado sin marcar el número de grano, una estrella menos. Deduzco que es el 2000. Lo he usado para rematar el afilado de un formón Urko. Creo que en la foto se aprecian las rayas que ha dejado pero aún así en la siguiente foto se aprecia que ha quedado lo suficiente bien como para un depilado sin peligro. Espero a que me llegue el 3000 para ver hasta donde llegamos, quizás pueda hacerme las ingles. He usado aceite de cortar para lubricar. Ya veremos lo que dura

Wenn man das Prinzip mal testen will ....
....ist der Senris Diamant-Schleifsteine 3000 geeignet. Leider nutz sich die Fläche extrem schnell ab, bei mir schon nach dem zweiten Gebrauch. Wer ernsthaft Messer oder gar Werkzeug bearbeiten möchte sollte zu einem höherwertigen Produkt greifen.
