Elan Publishing Company Field Notebook - 3.5"x5.5" - Water Resistant Leather Material - Lined Memo Book - Pack of 3 (Grey/Black)

I've used the smaller Elan field books with paper covers for about a year. These are a completely different level of quality for not much more money. They are bound by stitching on the spine instead of being stapled, so they may meet legal requirements for a notepad (where removing a page would be obvious).Interior paper is substantial and does not bleed, covers are quite thick and have a nice textured feel on front and back. Still fits in a shirt pocket, though it is rather thick.I will definitely buy these again.

What I wanted. A pocket-sized notebook with a (seemingly) durable binding, decent page count and reasonably protective cover. Ball point and gel pens don't bleed through but they do leave some impression on the other side of the page (pencils are fine, pages erase well). Writing on both sides of pages: unless you isolate an individual page and hold it up to a light source, the script from the other side does not interfere with reading. This is my second 3-pk order.PS: May I suggest offering notebooks with blank pages as well, thank you.

These inexpensive notebooks are wonderful! I keep one in my purse, one in my laptop bag, one in my car glove compartment, and sometimes one in my back pocket when I am out in the field. I love the little pocket in the back to keep receipts and random slips of paper. The notebooks are sturdy yet supple.

These are perfect notebooks for meetings! So happy to have found them. As an extra plus. The colors match our corporate logo!! Cool

I was happily surprised to receive these booklets (3 in a pack) because they did not cost much but they are well bound in a solid faux leather material. The creme lined pages are classy looking. Very impressed.

I gave this to my father, who is struggling with dementia. It fits perfectly into his shirt pocket! He writes notes in it to help him remember things.

I’m a automation engineer and use these daily at work. I’ve found the smaller notebook is easier to keep up with.They fit nicely in my back pocket for constant access.
