Great sound and no lipsinc when two are paired. UPDATE 3 August 2020
It's easy to set up and comes with an assortment of connecting cables including optical and, it pairs quickly and shows the connected codec. As it uses Bluetooth 5, it may pair using the basic SBC codec instead of AAC if it cannot connect with AptX, LL or HD. The SBC Codec does have a latency issue as well as poorer quality sound. My cheap Philips headphones paired to aptX almost immediately and, although it wasn't Low Latency, lip sync (latency) with prople talking on television was virtually undetectable. Predicably the aptX connection provided good quality sound. Update 3 August 2020 I bought a second BOIROS transmitter receiver and paired it with the first. Both paired in HD, great sound and no latency issues with the television. I had used the optical connection between the television and the first BOIROS, with my headphones wired from the second Boiros: that was loud and great quality. As the AKG and SONY headphones don't have integral volume controls, I changed the input to the first BOIROS to the headphone output on the television so I could adjust the volume. Slightly less bass but still clear speech without a latency (lipsync) issue. Brilliant purchase that solved my slight hearing loss coupled with the usual poor sound quality from the speakers in a flat screen television. A pair of BOIROS units - one set to transmit and the other to receive - are highly recommended with wired headphones.

Picks up static noise while charging and transmitting in car!
I bought this device for use in car as I didn't have Bluetooth connection only aux in. It works great but beware that when it's charging it picks up static like an fm transmitter or worse, I could hear the revs of the engine in a bad buzzing noise coming from the speakers over the music but as soon as I disconnected the charger it went perfectly quiet so although you can use it while charging, the quality of the sound drops fenomenally. Aside from that really good device, battery holds and sound quality is perfect(when not charging)

Great device.
I wanted to use my Sony WH-1000XM3 bluetooth headphones with my non bluetooth TV and HUMAX pvr. I plug the optical out of the Humax into the input of the transmitter, which then connects to the Sony headphones. There was a big lip sync delay at first, but that is because I have an 80ms delay on my Humax to sync with my TV. If I set the delay to 0ms the sync is acceptably close; not perfect but fine as far as I'm concerned. However, the big bonus for me was the realisation that the device can be set to receive. This means that I can connect it to my non bluetooth hifi (Marantz CR603) via its aux in. Bingo, two devices updated to Bluetooth! Very easy to set up and use. This is how technology should work.

Very good sound quality compared to cheaper units
Easy to set up. Batteries last a long time and unit works when it is charging. Very occasionally there are instances where there is momentary interference and signal loss. Using the unit with the TV there is a noticeable delay between picture and sound, so it can not be recommended for use with TV shows, films etc. Transmitted sound quality is very good, open and clear, it seems less compressed than other Bluetooth transmitters. Recommended for music and audio/ radio media, not recommended for video where sound transmission must be in unison with picture - playing YouTube music videos the delay is not a problem for me as the sound quality is excellent.

Difficult to Pair
Once paired, this is a surprisingly good transmitter, with a reasonable range (it only starts to go off when it's two rooms away from the receiver, and all doors are closed, though the quality does deteriorate very quickly then). Range can fall quite dramatically as the charge decreases, but plugging it into the mains to allow it to recharge quickly sorts that out. Pairing it with a receiver (headphones or speaker), however, is a nightmare. If there is any other Bluetooth transmitter (such as a mobile phone) in the vicinity, the receiver will pair with that and not the Boiros, even if it's placed on top of the Boiros and the phone is in another room! The only way I've found to make pairing work is to turn off Bluetooth on the phone and initiate pairing with the headphones or speaker. Pairing then takes a minute or two, and Bluetooth can be re-enabled on the phone without affecting the pairing between the headphones and the Boiros. It also seems to work well as a receiver, though since I've little use for it in that mode, I've done no more than experiment with that.

Fast, quality, versatile & easy to use Bluetooth link
Fantastic item - delivered from the UK to Portugal 7 days early! Comes with RCA, Jack plug lead, male to male jack, Optical & USB charging leads! The sound seemed a little muted at first so checked my phone & it was the Dolby app on my phone - disabled this & it sounds great - comparable to CD & change of tracks etc really swift. For a Bluetooth Transmitter & Receiver it's a superb product to update your old Hi-fi to the latest sources (as I did) & many other uses.

Annoying silent gaps when watching TV. Low level noise is not transmitted.
Pros - Easy set up, easy connect,/pairing, great displaying of connection - instantly see if connected in Low Latency mode, No lip sync issues watching TV. Cons - At low sound levels, nothing is sent to headphones so you get completely silent gaps rather than the low level background noise. This is amazingly annoying. You don't miss any talking but silent gaps ruins the experience. Verdict - probably great for music, but as I bought it for TV the sound dropping out makes it pretty annoying. As sound is the main reason for buying them I have to give a 1 star rating.

Important things to note
A few notes: * My headphones (Bose QuietComfort 35 II) support AAC as a receiving mode but it doesn't light up on the unit when transmitting mode is used and it is paired, instead SBC - an inferior protocol - is lit. I don't know why this is. I believe this shows the same on my AirPod Pros... Which leads me into my second note4 * There is no volume adjustment for AirPod Pros. Technically you should adjust on the unit, but if there are no volume button at present this is not possible. I would seriously avoid purchasing this if you have AirPod Pros. The audio is going to be at a stupidly low volume with no way to adjust. The versions with volume buttons are more likely to work better. * A lip sync delay of 10 and an digital input delay of 0 seem to work best on my HiSense TV. The lips are still very slightly out of sync, however this is fine for me, and barely perceptible. It's not "dubbed English over Chinese movie" level. TBH it feels like it needs a setting of 11. * The range is pretty good, SBC codec audio quality is not bad.
