Overall I would give this product a very good rating...except for one thing: it does not exactly fit my large green egg. The feet do not sit securely on the rim of the egg which adds instability to cooking/smoking.

Great price..... BUT ! The inside diameter of this plate setter is almost 2" smaller than the original large Big Green Egg plate setter. This leaves a much larger opening between the Firebox and the edge of the place setter. Also, the outside diameter is too small to allow this replacement place setter legs to set close to the outside edge of the firebox. Design may have been compromised to fit both 18" large Big Green Egg and 18" Kamado grill

This is a must if you buy frozen or Papa Murphys ready to bake pizza. You put it on the store on the gills d it cooks perfectly. Also great for take and bake breads.. it is study and very heavy. Does a great job

So far this plate setter has work just as well as the OEM setter. The feet are thicker than the setter from BGE which is a plus in my opinion. Time will tell on how it holds up, but after four cooks of 8+ hours it’s doing the job.

Works well and fits as described!

I've used this for brisket and wings. Both turned out great. It is a little hard to clean, but what isn't when it is covered in smoke.

Love the price compared to the “brand” name. Works just the same and fits in the large green egg perfectly. Slow cooked ribs twice already and they were awesome.
