YUNLIGHTS Submersible Led Lights, Waterproof Led Lights Battery Operated with Remote Controller Decoration Lights for Aquarium Vase Base Pond Wedding Halloween Party (4 Pack)

Was desperately looking for these LED submersible lights for our in ground pool which is on the larger side of 18x36 and is about 8 feet on the deep end and holds approx 28,000 gallons of water. Over the years I’ve been purchasing a name brand one from a franchise pool store. Those are very expensive for around $25-30 each and they don’t last very long even when taken care of. So we had company over July 4th and I couldn’t even find the expensive ones locally so I decided to give these a whirl... very glad I did!I got 4 lights that have more colors and settings than the more expensive ones, for the cost of ONE of the “name brand” submersible LED light.As you can see from my pictures, (I made a video but couldn’t upload it.. booo)They do very nicely! They add the right amount of ambience for a relaxing midnight swim.They are very sturdy and well built. A little on the heavy side with batteries. They are definitely submersible and water right. The kids were throwing them into the deep in and diving for them and they held up being repeatedly abused. I haven’t even explored all the other options and settings because I just love the bluish colors they put off in the pool.I honestly wasn’t expecting too much from these because of the price but I’m very happy and will be ordering another set.HOWEVER, I recommend purchasing the heavy duty magnets about the size of a domino that’s strong enough to stay put on your pool walls. I wish I would have know to purchase four magnets with these at the time but I had three on hand. Just open the magnet up and attach to back of light and stick to your pool wall! So easy!UPDATE 7/20/2019Just changed the batteries out for the first time since purchasing these lights and they are still going strong! I’ve received so many compliments on these little powerhouse of lights. Most people think I had lights installed in the pool they are just that good looking.I see they are out of stock. Booo.... I didn’t order in time...

Great for short term use. Remote does not work while lights are under water. Lights have great brightness and modes!

Edit: 8/18/19Day 3 and I’ve lost function to even more colors, some flat out turn the lights off when you try to use the color. Basically I get green red and semi orange... so 3ish colors out of the advertised 15!As of now I can’t say I’d recommend these to anyone.Original review:So these started out as very nice additions to my pond! Very bright, lots of colors. The remotes always been a bit of a pain since you have to be right up on them for it to work. However just over two days the lights have lost functionality of a handful of colors(the ones I was using..) and the brightness dimmed a noticeable amount. I’m pretty bummed as I really wanted these to work out but two days of working is surely not long enough of a life span.

The remote did not always work. There were times I had to leave the lights on overnight because I could not turn them off with the remote. Now I know to just remove a battery. I really like the ease of these lights. I can place them in a decorative vase and with the remote I can turn them off and on. I liked them so much I ordered another set for gifts. Only problem is when the remote refuses to turn off. All totaled I had 8 remotes and had the same problem with every one.

Water has gotten into the inside even when I tighten it. Also has a problem with sticking to the side of the pool!

I thought these were great for the price. They have lots of options with the remote for colors. I plan to use them for an outdoor party in my fish pond and a fountain. I tested them and they look great. I don't leave batteries in them when they are not in use and I don't intend to leave them sitting underwater when they are not in use either, so I'm no too worried about them eventually leaking. For the price I think they are a great quick and easy way to have some fun temporary lighting for special occasions.

This lights are bright and sturdy. I use these in a non traditional since but I am so pleased with the product. As a school counselor I use them to grab my students attention to teach zones of regulation and practice with the game four corners, making each corner a different color light. . The kids love them. They are bright enough to be seen across a classroom and sturdy enough to messed with by elementary aged kids.

Light is bright, and is water proof fine.Remote control is the worst part. Issue is I have to fish the light from water every time I need to turn off or on as the remote control does not work when the light is submerged in waterI decided to use around the garden area. Still useful since it is water and rain proof.
