Functionality wise it works as it’s meant to, there is a card inside with a qr code you can scan for set up instructions, this was all quite painless.Mine arrived in a box that said ‘new’ the box however was not sealed and a rod and the entire back set of screws was missing.. I only found this out once I’d put it (almost) together. I contacted customer services at amazon who said they have no contact details for the seller... so I’ve no way to contact them to ask them to send spares. An internet search brought up a lot of random sites but no concrete way to contact this company... I could have returned it but instead I’m just going to go to a diy store to see what I can find to fix it, it’s just a bit disappointing to buy something ‘new’ when it’s clearly not in my opinion.The screen is....ok it does the job, the buttons are VERY clicky! A few minutes in a room with someone else I can imagine them getting annoyed, the speakers are really bad if I’m honest, but there is a headphone socket, and I like how you can see how much charge there is in the battery and plug the charger in to charge it without removing the battery. Plugging in the charger will restart the device so don’t do it mid game! It’s quite uncomfortable to hold it seems very much like this is a starting point for you to build upon, I see people using 3D printers to make better covers and I’m doing exactly this as I can’t play more than ten minutes currently (because the back has no screws to hold it on!) but also the edges are quite harsh on the hands.

If you like Retro games this is a must. This is very easy to setup taking around 30 minutes to fully buld and configure. The screen is amazing beating most of the orriginal consoles it emulates. Eventhough you need a raspberry pi, memory card and a battery( which I stole out of an old laptop battery) it is still reasonably priced.The screen is so good that you can even use the raspberry pi as a portable computer if you add a keyboard and mouse.Battery life is not great but that could just be because my battery is an old battery. I have found that changing from battery to charger does reset the unit which seems to defeat the object of having a battery. I do reccomend the official pi charger as every phone charger I have tried seems to cut out after awhile.All in all I would highly reccomend this for anyone who wants a Retro gaming experience and does not mind a little work to get it going.

Really easy to put together, works great I found that download the pre made image was easier than installing the drivers onto a retropie image.i would have given it 5 stars I'f the build quality was a little better my anoglue stick has snapped already but I have been using it alot.

Good device, worked well with my pi3b with little config. The screen is a little small tbh. Also getting the battery is a hassle!

The screen is very good quality, although a little bit on the small size for most RetroPie menus.Rather bulky but works well. Very sturdy construction. It could do with some sides.

This is a brilliant piece of kit. It was easy to setup and just as easy to use. Battery life (battery sold seperately) lasts a very long time. Overall, if you in the market for something like this, get it you wont regret it.
