I love Elixir strings. I use these on my Les Pauls. They sound great, feel slinky and last much longer than the Ernie Balls I previously used.

I've been using Elixir strings for many years, and I have tried all brands in the past. They are a bit pricey, but the articulate tone, which is important to me because I only play clean, no pedals, and how long they last is worth the money. At times you can find 3 packs on sale.

Works well. I'd more durable than light or medium if you are a fan of metal, but for now this works.

If you are a sweaty handed ape like me, stop what you're doing right now and buy these strings. Every regular set of nickel strings I'd buy would be tarnished and dull within (no exaggeration) 2-3 days. I thought that was just the nature of guitar strings! Turns out it's just my sweaty hands causing strings to tarnish immediately. Even when I'd try wiping off the strings after playing they would still tarnish and dull so quickly.I've had my "new" guitar for a little over a year now and I came THIS CLOSE to spending $400 on a new set of pickups because I was so disappointed that they sounded so dull and muddy. I noticed that when I replaced the strings, the guitar would sound great for one, maybe two, days and then back to the muddy swamps.Well, I'm SO GLAD I gave these Elixirs a shot. They sound awesome and one week into restringing they're still bright and shiny and playing like new. Can't believe I waited this long. I can't recommend them enough. I've been teaching myself some old 70's hard rock solos that have crazy bends and have not managed to pop any strings yet, so extra bonus there. They seem durable. So happy with these. Buy them!

If you haven't tried these, just grab a set and play. You won't regret it.I love elixir because I can use one set of strings for months without having to replace due to them getting hard to slide. Granted, they cost more, but they also always feel like a new set. Slides easy, but not too slick. Just give them a couple of days to break them in. The first couple of days the tone is a little shiny. After that, the sound is great.

I like Elixer strings for both my electric and my acoustic guitars. This was a good price and I would buy from this vendor again.

Die Saiten wurden gekauft für einen wiederentdeckten, ca. 30 Jahre alten Fender-Stratocaster. Aufziehen und Stimmen kein Problem; das Tuning wurde schon nach kurzer Spielzeit von den Saiten gut gehalten. Erster Eindruck: Passt, wenn man alles "weich" haben will. Wunderbar "soft" bespielbar und guter Sound, wenn man Anklänge an "Acoustic Guitar" braucht. Wer Heavy-Metal braucht: Dickere Saiten wählen. Langzeiterfahrung naturgemäß nach ein paar Wochen noch nicht möglich.
