D'Addario Accessories Shine Guitar Spray 4oz

Gently but effectively removes decades of film and dirt and leaves a natural sheen. I recently used it in the restoration of a 62-year-old archtop, and it removed the dull film and safely restored the original sheen of the nitro finish without affecting the vintage checking. This is my new Go-to product for cleaning up my vintage guitars. Also, compared to my previous favorite Stew-Mac product this is a bargain.

I've only been playing guitar since 2019, but I play a LOT. I am in the band at my church, so my acoustic guitars get a ton of play time on a regular basis. As such, they take a good amount of abuse (pick scratches, sweat stains, shirt rubbing, etc.) I've used this stuff on all my shiny finish guitars (Gibson J45, Martin D35-E, and Taylor 224ce-K DLX) for a while now, mostly when I change my strings out. It does a great job removing small scratches, sweat stains, etc. Very little effort required. Just follow the directions on the bottle and you will be satisfied with the results. Highly recommended for any guitar player that has a shiny finish guitar, including Nitrocellulose. For $6, you might as well give it a try. I don't think you will be disappointed.

shines like... well something amazon wont let me put in the review. used this on an old Memphis Les Paul that probably hasn't been cleaned since the 90's. Absolutely helped restore the finish. Now if only i could use this stuff on my hands to improve my playing ability..

It's ok product but a little bit of a challenge to remove at end of application cycle. Recommend to use sparibgly... a littel goes a long way... takes longer to dry enough to polish.

Makes your guitar glow. IF you are ever selling a guitar, or just want to make yours light up a room again, I can't begin to tell you how much better guitars look after a good shine. This is the equivalent to car wax for your car. It doesn't take a lot, but after you use it you will understand how nice an old guitar can look.

I dont usually write reviews but ive been struggling with some haze/cloudyness where my arm rests on my nitrocellulose strat and this stuff works. I've tried musicnomad pro strength polish before and it doesnt (maybe thay helps to put it into perspective). Amazon wont let me upload photos ive taken in the past but i took one now after just one application and I geuss youll have to take my word for it that it was hazy there before. This did in 1 application what musicnomad polish couldnt do in 4. Thats all i have to say. Thanks.

Probably the best guitar polish detailer i've used. This stuff works and really brings up a nice shine. It's not a cure all for poor handling of the instrument but it will remove grime, palm prints, slight scratches, etc. Use it as directed. I use it on the kit build guitars to polish out the last coat of lacquer clear coat on the instrument after it is completely dry and hardened.
