Great shoe for work
I use these shoes all the time for work. The only thing I do to them is I replace the innersoles with Dr. Scholls heavy duty work and they last for 6 to 8 months of daily hard work with 6 miles average a day. I am a UPS driver

GREAT SHOE FOR OLD WORKING FEET
I am a 70 year old "kid" working a 3-day per week part time job serving as a kitchen aid in a veterans nursing home of 120 residents. Having myself served in the USAF, it is an honor to serve these men and women, some WW2, some Korean War, and Viet Nam vets. The current oldest living military vet resides here having turned 100 years old last July.I LOVE MY SKETCHERS!! My feet are also 70 years old- both of them- although they've only been in service closer to 69 years. I'm on these old feet from 4:30 AM until 1:00 PM and I walk between 3.5 and 5.25 miles each day on this job. And I walk in a "slippery" environment, and these shoes are EXCELLENT in slippery kitchen conditions. I added a high-quality custom orthotic overlaying the memory-foam insoles and it's like walking on a cloud. Next "test" now is going to be how durable they are.

NOT built to last in a commercial kitchen
I’m an executive chef of a large hotel. That said; I don’t cook as much as a culinarian, but I’m in the environment just not exposed to the mess as I used too. For that my shoes should hold up well. Some time ago I suffered from constant foot problems and at the request of my podiatrist I changed to a tighter fitting shoe. I wore Dansko Clogs for years and loved them. Those shoes would last up to 2 years if I took good care of them, but unfortunately clogs were no longer right for me. I purchased a pair of Skechers Soft Stride and enjoyed them. They were comfortable, more affordable than my other shoes and held up well.Bought another pair of the same shoes a year later, thinking they would perform the same as the previous pair. Look at the photos a posted and note the shoes you are viewing are a little more than 3 months old.In summary: the shoes are nonslip, they are comforable but the inner lining wears very fast and the outer of the shoe is not designed to last in a kitchen setting, at all. I wouldn’t recommend these shoes to my front of house let alone a cook. Spend a few more dollars and buy Shoes for Crews or Dansko, who by the way sells lace up shoes as well. I’m sure either of those shoes will hold up better.Very disappointed!!!!!!

I would not repurchase these.
Noisy shoe!! Wow these shoes make a ton of noise walking, they squeak, and make passing gas sounds. Both sides do this. The inner sole must be somehow separated from the outer sole and have an air gap that flexes open in walking. I work on concrete, the sole is durable but hard. It sounds like you have on boots when walking on hard surface. The comfort of the cushioning is decent, my feet feel fine after a day in them. I just wish I could walk down the hallway without all the noises made by the shoe. When I tell you they are loud I do honestly mean they are loud!! Coworkers will hear you coming a mile away!

Comfortable shoes ruined by manufacturers
I used to order these particular shoes all the time few years ago. They have completely ruined the make/manufacturing of these shoes. They used to extremely comfortable with extra cushion and support in the soles! Now...the soles are hard as bricks!!! It’s like walking on concrete!!! The whole purpose of purchasing these particular shoes was because of the comfort level they offered. Why would they change that!!!????

Great grip, no slippage, but be aware of circulation issues/pinching.
I have owned two pairs of Skechers shoes for work in the past but since I have large feet for women's sizes (11 1/2), when I went to reorder, they were unavailable. So I opted to buy the men's size equivalent. After the first day of work wearing them my big toe went numb on my left foot and the second day it started causing spasms in the ball of my foot and the numbness was spreading to the other toes. I fixed the problem though by buying a pair of Superfeet insoles and now I have no issues but it did put me out the 60 or so dollars for Superfeet. They don't have any problems with traction and I can walk on floors with grease and water that cause problems for other people's shoes. I will definitely continue to buy Skechers brand work shoes, but definitely be aware that you may have a circulation issue at least in the men's.

Disposable work shoe.
I have owned two pair of these work shoes. Although they do fit well and perform as advertised, my complaint is that they just don't survive. The imitation leather as well as the attachment of the upper shoe to the sole have failed on both pairs. The sole and upper part of the shoe disconnect, The upper part of the shoe rips. It is just not a shoe that will endure. I think a better quality shoe is what I am looking for,

Good solid shoes, good support, fit as expected.
Have bought these shoes at "brick and mortar" stores before, wore them til I wore them out! Got a lot of mileage out of them before the area behind the heel inside the shoe kind of shreds. Kept the last pair that I'll doctor up somehow (duct tape? LOL!) for at-home use, and bought this new pair online so they look decent when out and out. They might be a little stiff when you first put them on, but soon after you'll realize how much support they give, and then they'll kind of conform to you foot over time. Great traction on slick surfaces!

Least comfortable shoes I have ever worn
Killed my ankles dead. After three work days wearing these I had permanently sore ankles even after taking them off that lasted an entire weekend of not wearing any shoes. Even after undoing the top set of laces for a looser fit then I like it still somehow fits poorly. These are also the only work shoes I have ever gotten that didn't have a gel insole built in. I had to buy a pair separately so it didn't feel like I was walking on bare concrete all day. And if you still wanna give them a try buy at least one full size larger then you normally need, I'm a 9 so I ordered a 9.5 and they have no toe room at all. If not for the fact that wearing them in might fix some of these problems eventually (It's been 3 weeks and they still suck) they would have been my first ever return.

Good quality but uncomfortable
After a few weeks this pair of shoes are very durable and good quality but they are super uncomfortable and you can feel everything on the bottom of the shoes even one single paper will be noticed it's kinda odd
