Power Stop K5405 Front Z23 Carbon Fiber Brake Pads with Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors Kit

Writing this review as a warning for Chevy Colorado owners. First off, the parts look and feel high end. I got the whole wheel assembly apart down to the point where I had to remove the wheel bearing. You don't "just remove" the wheel bearing hub. If you have any rust, they will be fused together. Will need some bigger, more advanced tool to get the hub out of its bore. As such, I was not able to complete the brake job. You have a short window to return car parts to Amazon. Do the work as soon as you get the parts so you don't get left with a nice set of paperweights should the hubs be seized.

Used these to replace rotors and pads on 2012 Colorado. Did the break in that is recommended and have great stopping power. No squeaking or dust so far after driving in the dry or rain weather. Breaking them in smelled a bit but no smells after that.

Application and Fit was exactly like OE. I feel that it performed well but was not blown away by its stopping performance. Drilled rotors were less noisy than competitors drilled products that I have used in the past.

Bought these for my Chevy Colorado 2010 4x4 and they are above my expectation! Apart that it's a real pain to get to the discs on that truck, the installation went without any problem, all the hardware is of very good quality and the instructions for break-in are really simple and straightforward. The brake have a good feel to them, more powerful than stock without being grabby. I only have about 500 kms on them at the moment but i am really pleased with them for now. I strongly recommend!Edit: 10000 kms review. These brakes are still awesome. No rust, wear is almost nonexistent and the feel hasn't changed. Great product, would buy again!
