Joytech 16MB Gamecube Memory Card

It came in great and on time (actually a day before it was supposed to get here) and worked like a charm. It was cheap and totally worth it and I also got a couple games for Christmas (I am 16 going to turn 17 on Valentines Day) like Metroid Prime and Resident Evil and the best thing is that whoever had the memory card also had save data of those games and so I guess I could say I had one heck of a time pranking people that I beat the games in under an hour from when it came in the mail. xD

I recieved my GameCube memory card yesterday, and it was the item described, but it did not work in my Wii. When I started a GameCube game with this memory card inserted in my Wii, I got an error message and the games would not play. After restarting the system a few times, I got the card to show up and save a game, but the next time I started my Wii it gave me the same error message and would not access the card. Unreliable at best. If you want a memory card you know will work every time you want to use it, you'll need a Nintendo brand card, I think. I wish I had just spent the extra money to get a quality product.

At least that is what the seller that I purchased from believes... First off the package I recieved looked nothing like the one in the photo, and the item was definitely NOT joytech branded (it was Intec, if I remember correctly). Secondly- when I ordered, I was under the impression that I'd be recieving a black cased memory card (as is shown in the package in the item picture), instead I recieved a white one (as in the picture on the package in the item picture). As far as data reliability -- time will tell, but I got this one as a replacement for a failing card. That all said, I agree- it is just a memory card (third party, mind you - which some find to be a + and others find a -). Hence I did not go through the hassle of a return. If the brand or color of your card is important to you, then you may want to check with the seller ahead of time, find a listing where it is more specifically laid out, or prepare for a return. Thus far, I remain satisfied with this card, but the description could have been more accurate, or this seller could have re-listed under the appropriate manufacturer. *** second purchase from a different seller proved to be exactly as described... *** It is still just a (third-party) memory card, and remains satisfactory

I am so disappointed in this memory card! It has gotten corrupted several times and erases all my save data! I should've went to a used game store and bought a used one, because I've never had problems with them. Never again!

Just wanted one for the used Gamecube we were given. These are getting hard to find. I found these on Amazon and at a good price. No Regrets.

I ordered this product but instead of receiving this memory card I was given a 32MB one. That's double what I ordered but I wasn't charged any extra. It works great and does everything I needed it to. The fact that I get twice the memory is like getting free bacon on your cheeseburger!

I did one star because there isnt a 0 stars, i have purchased this 3 times and havent gotten what i have paid for, i have used the actual memory card shown in the picture for well over 5 years and they still work, and i keep receiving these dumb knockoffs that i have used before and are pieces of junk that dont work for more than a week. This is a picture of what i received this time!

does this work for gamecube???
