I really like that the product is small, seems to be well-built, and has the removable usb c cable which makes it easy to plug in without blocking other slots. It also came packaged very safely and compactly. Transfer speeds are fast as well- all great so far!

I'm using the 512GB CFast card with the Black Magic 6k Pro. I record a little BRAW but primarily ProRes HQ Ultra HD and this card hasn't missed a beat! Previously used SDs and a Samsung T5, but neither could keep up due to write speeds, unless I bumped down to 1080. This is a game changer for my work. UPDATE - Just received the PixelFlash Ultra slim reader as well. The reader has a non-slip texture and I especially like the detachable USB-C cable vs a hardwired alternative. Let the footage roll! BTW - the card packaging was outstanding!

This card reader is fast and allows for editing with no lag. I testing some clips on a M1 iPad Pro 12.9 using the new Davinci app and i love it.

I have been using pixel flash card readers for several years for my photography business. They have great quality. I didn't pay attention while buying, this reader does not come with a USB plug or attachment, that's my bad. I will use it with a cord I already have but overall I would recommend their products.

I use Pixel Flash CFast 2.0 cards and they work GREAT in my 1DXMkii. So i ordered their card reader, and though the title suggest USB-C, it is NOT. Not e my photo of the product, the device has a USB type A and a USB C to USB C cable, these do NOT work together and I am disappointed that the correct peripherals are not consistent with the product photo or description. Im sure the reader works as great as their cards do but this purchase left me requesting a refund the moment I opened the package. Pixel Flash please consider quality checking your titles/descriptions to your products. I love using them, but only when I can actually use them.-JD-

I have been a huge fan of pixelflash gear from the first time I saw another DIT using one of the original compact flash readers a number of years back. I loved the design and the fact it was wireless. I went out and got one right away and that unit still works to this day. So when I needed to get a cfast 2.0 reader I immediately started searching for the updated version of it from pixelflash. I purchased the reader and a hypercore and I couldn't be happier with products. I love the wood puck cases so that the units don't get messed up.

I received the exact product as advertised (CFAST reader with removable type c connector). I have used the PixelFlash readers before (the compact flash reader) and it has been very reliable and fast. Definitely recommended.
