Dog Brush & Cat Brush for Shedding and Grooming,Pet Slicker Combs for Dog & Cat with Long or Short Hair

Same type of brush I used in my grooming business for yrs. Retired now but my new puppy needed a grooming and these brushes really help getting knots out of a dogs coat. Also great for getting that winter undercoat quicker instead of your dog shedding out all over your house every spring!

Selected this one specifically because it looked like the handle was completely built in to the brush end -- and it is! The head is one piece with the handle. The wires are set into a piece of plastic that is bonded to the head, so I don't anticipate the usual problem of the handle becoming loose and pulling off the head whenever trying to brush the pet. Same as other similar products in terms of removing hair from it. I'm learning that a metal comb saves the brush points digging into hands/fingers while probably getting even more hair out of the brush. Definitely recommend this product.

My cats love being brushed but because they both have short hair the other slicker brushes would scratch their skin. This one does a great job of removing the loose fur without hurting them because of the safety beads on each bristle. I also really like that I can rotate the brush head, one of my cats likes the top of his head brushed 😄 and it's easier to do when the brush is smaller.I recommend this product to everyone but especially those who have a pet with sensitive skin or short hair. I think it would also work for the babies as well .... kittens, puppies, & even bunnies!

It works. I use brushing as a way to socialize previously “feral” kitties so they can be adopted. Most cats love to be brushed so it’s a great way to establish a relationship. I don’t use this to brush out knots or anything other than gentle brushing so I can’t speak to that. It seems fairly easy to remove hair from the bristles. I’d buy again

My pup is a pomeranian, and needs daily grooming (combing+brushing) to keep his coat in good shape and avoid tangles. Well, he loves to be pampered with this brush, thinking because it's gentle to his skin. Yet it gets the job done, removing dead hairs from his thick coat.Highly recommend (accompanied by a conditioning spray either lightly on his coat, or directly on the brush).

Wasn’t super easy to get the fine cat hair out of it but he loved it so much I was happy.

Do NOT buy if you have a long haired wavy or curly coated dog. I would not consider this a slicker brush at all. I have been using a slicker from Walmart that has been wonderful and cheap but the handle finally broke after 2 years of daily brushing. I thought I would try this one because it has a beaded tip on the bristles. It does not brush thru my dogs hair that has already been brushed. It is probably fine for a medium length coat on a cat. Thats it!!!!
