Very nice. I was a little worries about cost but knew the brand would carry it beyond the warranty.I've had this product for around a year and it's worn in great. The first few times I turned it on I could smell the oil and whatever else burn away and season. Now I smell no odor and it keeps temperature stable with or without the magnetic stir.

After 1 day of use when i turned down the burner and allowed it to cool off i came back and the porcelain was popping off. Nothing more than 1 drop of water touched the hot plate. Half of the porcelain had cracked off! I wrote the manufacturer we will see what happens.This is unacceptable $260 down the drain.***UPDATE*** The manufacturer apologized saying this should not have happened and sent a brand new upgrade to stainless steel without any hassle at all. Replied same day on a Sunday night. Excellent customer service.

Worked well for about six months then one day the hot stopped. The magnetic stirrer will works fine but the heat will no longer work.

This is an excellent hot plate I had a few issues getting it to work properly but found out that the sockets in new Zealand and Australia have a frequency of 230V while the hotplate requires 110V. For future reference if anyone is having a problem with this product or any others please remember to check your countries wall socket frequency and the frequency of your device.

I had a chinese made stirrer which burned up recently, so I replaced it with this unit. The controls are smooth, it holds temperature very well, and overall, its built very well.

Bought this for several experiments. High quality finish -- called customer support and they promptly answered what I needed to know.10/10 bang for buck product and customer service.

This is a great little heat plate magnetic stirrer, got a great price also. It boils and stirs like a tornado has a large magnet stirrer with it.
