Mumba Protective Case for Nintendo Switch (2017 Release), [Battle Series] [Built-in Kickstand] Heavy Duty Grip Cover for Nintendo Switch Console with Comfort Padded Hand Grips (Black)

The case is exactly what the switch needs to be great. I love the switch but when I held it first thing I noticed was how smooth and slightly awkward it was to hold. This case adds the exact amount of space and grip needed to actually hold on and use this device. Every time I pick it up I tell myself how happy I am with the purchase. Kickstand is nice, and like others have said it does not dock but taking it in and out is easy. There’s a mumba case for it I recommend you also buy with it as it’s big enough to hold the entire ice but not big enough to be cumbersome.

I tried this case, the Satisfye, some cheap $10 cases, and the Skull & Co and decided on this one because of the kickstand and the fact that it's easy to swap joycons while you're using it. The kickstand is very solid, there are no creaks, scratches, or other physical defects, and the entire case is incredibly sturdy. You won't be able to dock this one, but I purchased a dock USB-extension cable when I bought my Switch a couple of years ago so it hasn't been a problem. One thing about a lot of the "dockable" cases is once you put a glass screen protector on them, you won't be able to dock them so it's a moot point. The grip it gives you is nice, not as nice as the Satisfye in my opinion, but not bad at all. The only "gripe" I have with this case is the ABS on the back of the grips can get a little slippery sometimes, but it's not the end of the world and not worth taking a star off. Paired with the Mumba Plus case it has been excellent at home and on the go.

One of the coolest cases on the market. Stand works well. Snug fit. Adds comfort to the grip. Much more confident taking it out of the docking station now that it's protected.

Exactly what you expect from a hard protective grip case. Seems of high quality material. Doesn't seem to make the system feel extra hot during play. I greatly enjoy the kickstand it seems to have a sturdy hinge and is wide enough to help it stand in most places. You will have to take the joycons out every time you take the case out each time you want to dock it. Another easy solution is to just get a small adapter that acts as a dock and you can plug in like a charger so you dont have to take the case off at all.(also it's cheaper than a replacement dock and is much more compact.) All in all it's a great case would highly recommend.

This case is soooooo awesome!!! The pictures don't do it justice at all. I got the red and black and the red looks like anodized aluminum even though it is plastic. The panels are smoked see through and then it has a carbon fiber like striping in between. It fits very tightly and solidly. I wish the joy con's went in and out easier but it does work. I usually take them off to install or remove the case, it works well that way. All the holes line up perfectly and it feels good in the hands, although the hand nubs could be just a hair bigger, this does make it sit on a counter better though. Only downside is no access to the SD card and the case has to come off to use a jig. If you don't know what a jig is then ignore that. I suppose you could use a USB c extension to fix the jig issue. All in all you WILL LOVE THIS CASE!!!

Can't firmly hold the grips, or hands cramp. It's a toss-up between this for great protectiveness, with handy kickstand (2 adjustable heights) at the cost of less than ideal grip comfort and ease-of-removal. VS: Satisfye Zen Grip with better grip, easier to take off (for docking purposes), lighter but less protection and less versatile kickstand(only has 1 height adjustment). I ended up going with the Mumba case, figured I would use my 8bitdo controller more often than holding the device. Also, the Mumba case can allow for charging while using the kickstand if you play on the edge of a desk, which comes in handy a lot.

Extreme fast delivery! Ordered Sunday 4/19/2020 at around 3 am, estimated delivery Tuesday 4/21/2020 and I received my package 4/20/2020!!! Driver was kind and respectful as well as followed directions. Now to product in and of itself. It is very eye catchy! I ordered the red one and it is oh so amazing. It looks great, it FEELS great and for the price? IT IS GREAT. For a dude that has giant hands and the Switch being a small portable device, we do not match, but thanks to this amazing cover, it feels great and it feels like I'm going to be playing for oh so many extra hours! I knew that the cover was "not dockable" so that's why I'm not giving a 4 star review, if I didn't know, that was a full star taken from review, a complete NO-NO; however the description in PAGE specifically said not able to dock, instructions on box content do not specify so. It is a new purchase so I'll hold off the durability comments for now, but it does look and feel it can take a punch or two.

I love this! Makes it easier to hold the game! Does not fit in dock while in the holder but comes off easy.

Definitivamente es el mejor protector que le puedes comprar a tu Nintendo switch. En un principio pensé que iba ser muy grande pero al probarlo me di cuenta que tiene un tamaño perfecto cabe en el case de transporte y es muy ergonomico, Además que brinda una estructura que se siente muy resistente al uso.

The case was amazing! Where has it been all my life? Not only did it completely protect the Switch, it's huge kickstand is a major upgrade from the flimsy tab of plastic on the Switch. The design allowed for comfortable handling, and it inspired me to play more handheld mode on the Switch! It gives easy access to the buttons on top and the place where you insert the game card as well. The case is extremely durable, and you can remove the joycons without any effort. Also, the case has an interesting design on the back, which is worth looking at. Another pro is that the case is super easy to remove and reattach, which counters the only bad thing about it: it can't be put into the doc if the case is on. I can now rest assured that if I ever want to play with detached joycons, the kickstand will support the entire Switch, no falling over included! The case is a must have, for sure!

Resistente, practica, diseño hermoso. Cuenta con las 3 B, bueno, bonito y barato. Que mas se puede pedir? Un detalle que me gustó mucho fue que cuenta con una patita para que la consola se quede parada y así poder jugar hasta con amigos. Sin tener que gastar en una plataforma o usar la que Nintendo switch incluye. Ya que esta es demasiado frágil. Me hubiera gustado que fuera compatible con el dock para jamas sacarla de ahí. Pero si vas de viaje esto es más que perfecto. Hay cosas que se deben de sacrificar. No todo puede ser perfecto.

I have medium/average sized hands for a guy. The added grips really take the strain off my hands during longer play sessions. The added kick stand is phenomenal, and it really puts the og switch kickstand to shame. Moreover, being able to detach your joy-cons without having to remove the case is a really great touch (even though it requires a little extra force to slide off the controllers). Lastly, the extra protection makes me feel confident while playing in handheld mode. I only had 2 minor gripes with the case: i) the narrow cutout for your switch cartridges; and ii) being required to used a LITTLE extra force when trying to detach your joy-cons. When all is said and done, this is an EXCELLENT protective case for dedicated handheld players. I own the Skull and Co protective grip case, but I think this one has the edge. P.S the Skull and Co carry case can accommodate this Mumba protective case.
