Fly Screen Chain Curtain

Really happy with this curtain. Easy to adjust the length, lightweight but effective. Pets can get through it easily. Looks good too!

After having around twelve flies in the living room in one day during this current heatwave, I thought it was time to get a decent fly screen for the back door! Previous plastic ones with cheap strips were a waste of time, flies would just go through the gaps when a breeze got up. It’s was worth paying the extra for this one. Surprisingly heavy, but is easy to put up, even for someone like me who is hopeless at DIY. The metal strip just hangs on the supplied screw-hooks, just drilled a couple of holes into the wooden door frame and screwed the hooks in by hand. The screen arrived very well packaged by the manufacturer, in a long box and with basic instructions. Only had it up for one (hot) day, but not a single fly in the living room. Recommended at the price!

I have tried virtually all kinds of fly screens for my back door, none have lasted very long and all have been relatively poor in manufacture, something you can't tell until the things start falling apart. I was dubious about chain working or looking nice hanging in the doorway. But it does look stylish. On opening the packet I was surprised how heavy it seemed, but I suppose I shouldn't have been as it's a metal. Now having installed the screen my wife and I are delighted with this product! It was simple to install by just screwing the two L-shaped hooks into the wooden door frame and then hooking the frame over them. The chain link lengths can be easily removed too so it fits the full length of the doorway, The bright chrome and Turquoise striping look is 'pretty' so we are completely satisfied and I would recommend this product as looks good, hangs beautifully without blowing around too much, and is quite tactile too. One issue with the fitting instructions which shows a false picture of the aluminium header needing to be hole drilled, when it doesn't!

Lovely item, love the colour pop! I would have liked it to be heavier as it doesn't stop my (very stoopid!) dog walking straight through it 🐶

This fly screen arrived when it was due and delivery was good to. the fly screen matches the photos on Amazon and i am very pleased with it, i'm hoping it wont get too hot in the summer but it should be ok because its aluminium. i would buy this fly screen again if i needed too.
