Si tratta di un libro che fa rivivere gli strumenti di calcolo che erano disponibili, una decina di anni fa, agli ingegneri chimici coinvolti nei vari campi di ricerca. Pertanto ha un valore storico e di base per capire le fondamenta su qui sono costruiti i codici odierni largamente resi disponibili nei vari software di calcolo esistenti.
