Replacement LP-E12 Ultra High Capacity Li-ion Battery for Canon EOS Rebel SL1, EOS-M Mirrorless Digital Camera (Canon LP-E12 Replacement)

It holds charge really well, I took it on a trip and it last for the whole photo session. Really happy with the battery and that doesn't affect my DSLR.

I have not done extensive testing of these, but I am very pleased with the two I have been using now for several months. They hold a charge well and seem to last as long as the Canon. One of these is usually in my camera. When I go to grab a spare for a shoot, I feel no reason to prefer the Canon to them.

In case anyone is concerned by the low price that this product might have compatibility or quality issues, I've had no problems with it in my EOS-M. In fact I bought a second one. Honestly they could charge twice as much and it would still be a good deal!

I wasn't sure if this battery would hold up in comparison, however it seems to last longer than the stock Canon battery in my EOS m. This is a great choice for a spare battery.

I ordered two of these to save at half the cost of one genuine Canon LP-E12. I have mixed feeling about the battery. I haven't had much experience with the batter to gauge the long term life but past experience with off brands have been disappointing. As far as I can tell, it seems I get a few more shots per charge over the OEM battery. On the down side, the in camera battery indicator will only display FULL charge or DEAD, where a Canon LP-E12 battery will be displayed as a graduated charge. I'm so-so satisfied but given another opportunity, I'd buy the genuine Canon LP-E12.
