LIstening bliss
About a year ago, I got a pair of zippy earbuds to replace middle of the line ones that had been stolen: "Klipsch IMAGE S4 In-Ear Enhanced Bass Noise-Isolating Headphones (Black)." They are great... Except that I apparently have differently sized ear canals. The right earbud never quite fit and created an air seal that would last. So unless I remained absolutely, positively still, the right earbud worked loose and I didn't get the sound isolation that's really the whole point of earbuds. (Klipsch comes with 3 different sizes of tips; none fit quite right.) These replacement tips arrived today and they work great. The earbuds now stay in my ears and I can hear the material on my iPod quite well. They're comfortable, neither too tight nor too loose. I had some worries about the fit between the earbud itself and the plug-in point on the replacement tip--but they slipped right on because the material in the tips is flexible enough to accommodate the little stem. Yay!

Not exactly the same, but better.
SHORT REVIEW: same size, slightly "tougher" rubber with different color (may be a result of aging rubber with the old ones) resulting in better tips. Other reviews state that there is a size disparity between these replacements and the original 3-flange eartips, but I'm not convinced. The pair that originally came with my hf5 headphones have lasted about a year and a half of abuse and are starting to fall apart with a crease--I stored them with the third flange flipped inside-out. I did this, because the rubber of the original tips would get somewhat "bent" or distorted if the headphones were compressed in the pouch in my backpack for long periods of time, resulting in a bad seal and worse noise isolation when I eventually used them. As a result, the third flange finally creased to the point of holes forming. The new tips seem to be made out of a slightly less flexible rubber, which I first thought might make for a less comfortable seal or worse seal. These thoughts were quickly corrected in wearing the tips for about a week now, they are making a more consistent seal and are quite comfortable in my ears, better so than the 3-flange pair I replaced. Because these seem more durable, I have not and don't expect to have the same issue with the tips getting "bent" in my backpack, so I see no need to store them with the 3rd flange inside out. Would buy again, would recommend to anyone else using hf5/similar Etymotic headphones with worn 3-flange tips that aren't making as good a seal as they used to.

these are good replacments, but
I use etymotic earbuds. these are good replacments, but... I have big earholes, and even though these are the MC5 replacements, I need the longer stem variety. These tips are just as long as the drivers on on the earphones, which means they only go so far before the phones come up against my ear. Therefore they unseal more quickly. A longer stem product (which they make) will theoretically stay in my head better because they'll go deeper into the canal without the earphones stopping them. Aside from that, I have used many tips, including every material available and several brands that claim to be better. Nothing works better than silicone for comfort, seal, and sound reduction. Maybe foam does, but it doesn't stay put, and fills with wax over time, which makes it seal more poorly and prone to slipping. I am taking one star off because these shouldn't cost so much.

Just okay
I needed replacements. The other reviewers are 100% correct that these are smaller than the originals, but they also are better in one way from that. The hole for the speaker to go in is smaller, so it holds tighter. I have since gotten used to the smaller overall flange size, but I would have liked a bit bigger like the originals. One strange thing, the flanges seems to deform over time. Not sure if they are fitting to my ear, or flatening in my coat pocket or what. But they don't seem to keep their nice original shape like the real ones that came with the ER6i's I have. It hasn't impacted the performance at all, so I guess no big deal (yet)?

Good, though not identical to the original ones.
I noticed in the comments that these eartips aren't the same as those "original" on ER4 but I purchased them anyway because it's the only choice for large eartips. Here's what I found: As pointed out by other comments, the grey opaque one on the left is from this listing; the translucent one on the right it the "default" large tip I got out from my ER4SR accessories pack (still new unused). 1. Colour. Obviously different. I'd certainly buy the translucent one should that be an option. So Etymotic please put those tips that come default with your earphones on market as well!! 2. Size. Check the picture carefully. Personally I'd say that they are of the same size and that's reasonable. Because why would they spend money for just a slightly different mould only to displease the customers? 3. Fitting. I found these grey opaque tips fit slightly better in my ears than those translucent "default" ones. BUT this is possibly due to the original ones losing elasticity over time. AND this is probably some think the original ones are bigger: silica gel swell and losing elasticity after heavy use, making them a bit difficult fitting into the ears thus feel bigger. 4. Durability. I bought this only one and a half months after I received my ER4SR... The user manual states that eartips be replaced 2-3 months. IMHO, forget about the difference in colour, these are official Etymotic accessories and of same good quality.

I guess they'll never be full-sized again?
I started out with the 4-flange tips that came with my EC5s and loved them. After a fair amount of wear, I looked to replace them as the smaller size that came in the package of tips was too small. I saw most of the other reviews here saying that they were too small and decided not to order. I moved off to another type of type and then to the final tip that was provided with the MC5s. I preferred the flange tips but I figured I could use those while hoping they ended up making bigger 3-flange ones. Seeing that many of the reviews were older and how sometimes products change overtime, I ordered these tips as I had no choice. I excitedly awaited them and the restoration of the noise blocking qualities of my EC5s after a recently very loud international flight. They arrived, I popped them on and sure enough, they are way too small for my ears. I have a big head and so maybe I also have big ear canals, so your mileage may vary, but they are still way too small and way smaller than the "large" tip that came with the MC5. I guess I'll have to order a non-flange tip and keep on waiting.

Smaller than what I took off. Still fits perfect in my ears and on my Etymotic ER-4P.
As others have posted, these are smaller than what came originally with my Etymotic ER-4P. Now, I used both the larger and the medium sized mushroom tips from the original kit. Changed them a few times. I cant say which ones I was using most recently. In any case, the new ones -do- fit my ears perfectly. Every time I put in a new set there seems to be a noticeable improvement in sound isolation. Which tells me I need to switch my tips far more often.

Work great with Clarity Aloft headsets
These work great with the Clarity Aloft aviation headset. Superior to the foam tips in nearly every way. Comfortable, good sound quality (same as the foam tips), easy to clean, last longer than the foam tips, less expensive than the foam tips. The only issue is if they have too snug of a fit in the ear, then they can get left behind in the ear when trying to pull them out. Only has happened a couple of times. Easy to fix - take the eartip out of your ear with your fingers and reattach to headset.

Fits good
Seem to be about the same as the large set you get with the ety phones.

Excelentes
