Perfect for the 8 year old I bought it for. The print is a little bigger, so not so intimidating for young chapter book readers. Good price.

Can't wait to read it since veggie tales made their own version of this book!

A classic favorite.

This classic story features a heroine who is a wonderful role model for little girls. In this Cinderella type story, bravery, kindness, and a positive attitude pay off in the end.

I sent in to my 10 almost 11 year old granddaughter; and she said that it was too young for her; she said that it's for tots. I told her I has seen the movie and thought she would enjoy it; but she said thanks ,but no. can't win em all

It's not bad or anything like that. But there's nothing in this book to catch the interest of a little girl. No decent pictures and no vocabulary to help them understand anything and it's hard for them to stay focused on the story when every other sentence, I have to tell her what something means.

Very well done this little book from the lovely story of the Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett about a little girl (Sara Crewe) who is forced by tragic circumstances to work as a servant in the school where she was first treated as a princess. Children surely loves this story with a happy ending where Sara is refound by a gentle old friend and she returns to be the little princess who has never forgot her heart and kindness even in painly days.
