ChessexChessex Festive 16mm d6 with pips Dice Block, Sunburst with Red

Who knew that finding the right dice would send me down a rabbit hole from which I almost didn't recover. My girlfriend and I must have played 1000 games of Yahtzee during this crisis, with what were Chessex dice. She had them for several years. One night we kind of grew tired of looking at the same colored dice and decided to buy different color dice to spice things up.At this point we didn't know the dice we were using were Chessex. So we went on Amazon, and proceeded to but 50 multi colored dice that had great reviews. When they arrived they were too light and too squared. They just did not feel right in your hands, or while rolling them. So we returned them and bought 100 multi colored dice that were also too light and cheap in quality. I was upset and angry. I found myself unable to sleep for several nights. Those got returned too. A few days later, I got a phone call from my better half telling me that she had found the same dice we had had been playing with. They were Chessex dice. She remembered the box they came in. I was so excited. We proceeded to buy two sets. One of them arrived and sure enough they were heavier, the right size and shape.We fired up a game of Yahtzee and with a tear in my eye I rolled those bad boys!! They look like Popsicle Big Sticks, which sent me down a whole different kind of rabbit hole! Fun fact, did you know in Los Angeles you cannot find a box of big stick Popsicle's anymore? I even reached out to the company and was told that only certain retailers carry them and they have disconnected their box sale of this item. Anyways. (Childhood crushed)The closest place to find them was 35 miles away. ( My GF told me to name the city here, but I am afraid one of you will go buy them all)Thank god for those two couples who invented Yahtzee on that yacht, it made such a difference in our lives during this global crisis. It brought my girlfriend and I closer together. She rolled so many Yahtzees. We even invented Super Yahtzee, our take on the original game. Thank god for Chessex and my girlfriend for teaching me that not all dice are created equal. Chessex is the only dice any of you should buy. They are QUALITY! Everything else was cheap lightweight garbage. Chessex has renewed my faith that companies can still create quality products. As I wrote this review, my beautiful girlfriend whom I love, just ordered another set arriving tomorrow. Yay! Also thank god for Amazon Prime our dice will arrive tomorrow. Guess how we are spending our night together?EDIT/AMENDED Review.Well for as wonderful as the dice this company makes, their customer service lack a little to be desired. I reached out to them personally to show them this review, and to ask for 2 display cases that they come in for a couple sets of dice that we had which had gone missing. I Imagine the cases cost a total of 7 cents to produce. They were unwilling, but they were quick to point out how I could pay $7.00 for it. Its sad that in 2020, some companies do not place a high enough value on customer service or loyalty. I was not asking for free dice, just the cases they come in. Super disappointed.
