Nice solid product, clean metal case. Works well
Needed a large 16 port switch to replace the two older 8 port switches I use. So easy to install and with the short flat cables I also bought, the installation is so much neater. Just plug and play, no setup required. I also replaced two other 8 port switches and now my whole hard wired system seems faster but cant honestly prove that. Only thing I dont like is the power cord at the back of the switch but that is a minor issue. Would buy again. My router and switches are all netgear.

Great Product
I've never had a single problem with Netgear products. As expected, the 16GB Port switch worked without any issues (I've had this product since 2011 and post this feedback in 2018, so I have years of satisfied usage with this product : ) )

Has a great warranty It up to you to chose the proper series of products I use this unit at home , so I did not need a managed Switch The speed of this unit Is perfect for home usage. Having 1G on all ports is good for sharing all your media at hone ..

Plug and Play
I moved into a house that is pre-wired with ethernet cable. I have 16 Cat 5e cable feeds to various rooms. I will not likely use them all but I needed minimum 8 ports to connect devices I use. This product was very easy to setup up. I connected its Port 1 to my existing Router then connected all my ethernet feeds in various rooms to my devices (Smart TVs, Satellite Receivers, Network Capable Stereo Receiver, and even another router to create an additional wifi point on the floor my main router is not on. All devices were immediately online and connected. It was that easy, nothing else to do!
