Not for prolonged outdoor exposure
My initial reaction to this self adhesive camo covering was quite positive. I used it to cover a length of vertical pipe outdoors. It produced the visual effect of blending into the background and I was very happy with the ease of use and the self adhesion qualities. Jump ahead about 6 months and I was shocked to see that the material literally decomposed. I don't know if it was a reaction to the sun's rays or the rain but it was a complete and total failure. The manufacturer does not comment on prolonged outdoor use but it does use the word outdoor in the ad which could mislead prospective buyers. I could only recommend this covering to folks intending to use it indoors or outdoors on a temporary basis.

There are better options for wrapping a long gun
Bought this to wrap a shotgun--for users new to this sort of thing or unaware, this product sticks only to itself, which means that not all areas of some guns can be covered/wrapped (e.g., the fore-end, the barrel over the fore-end, etc), and this product might not be what you wanted for your particular gun/you may want something that sticks to the gun instead of to itself.Does work pretty well--I wrapped the buttstock and have fired the gun several time since. It is not really rugged, as I can already see it becoming very worn. Also, it is very rough on your cheek when firing several rounds: sounds silly, but it's actually uncomfortable after a bit.For other items, though, I can see it being more useful.

options i thought about, is to layer all of my different patters and peel off what does not fit current area
put some on my 7.62 x 51 LM&T, took it out shooting a few weekends ago and wow! it really makes the longgun feel at home with or without combat gloves on. and it might even dampen the noise from everywhere except the end of the barrel. IMHO. Would be good to have several types of cammo patterns on hand to accomodate different backdrops (background). i ordered several patterns and removed the cardboard tube in the middle of all of them. now, they crush flash and are carry-friendly. also, another options i thought about, is to layer all of my different patters and peel off what does not fit current area, and use the next pattern. the tape is reusable to a certain point. think of an ace bandage with soms light tackiness.

Great for wrapping anything outdoor use
This was very surprising. I bought it because I needed it quick for a weekend RECCE class. I took all three rolls with me thinking I would have to keep applying it as it came off over the course of the class. Wrapped my scope and wires the day before I left and the original wrap made it all three days. If it could survive the rain and mud I put it through I have no doubts it would last moderate use throughout a hunting season. I’ll order more if and when I need it for sure.

Self adhesive as described.
Self adhesive, meaning the tape will only stick to itself, you can't use it as regular tape.My mistake was not reading the post, I simply looked through photo reviews.Tape looks great, works as it should, but not for what I originally planned. Bright side is that it doesn't fade much when you stretch the tape.... highly stretchy by the way and another thing I like about the product is that it won't leave a sticky residue after tape removal.I used this for a lens but might stick to a carbon fiber tripod for events.... security cant say no to tripods if they can't see them hahha #Camo jk

Did not hold
Wrapped around hunting tripod legs, after a couple weeks it started coming off. The adhesion didn't seem really good from the start but I gave it a try. will not buy again.

Does the job as advertised
The material reminds me of a thin ace bandage. It’s sticky, but lightly so, though for my application that light adhesion seems to be doing just fine. Although I had to rank durability here the jury is out on how long this material will hold up outside. I will find out eventually. About 2 months have passed with no sign of failing.

Feels like fuzzy polyester and spandex with latex backing - no residue - Great easy removable camo treatment
I am using this stuff to wrap outside equipment in the shade. Feels like fuzzy polyester and spandex with latex backing. It is very easy to wrap on itself with tension, and it immediately comes off with no residue. UV stability and weather durability is unknown.Great easy removable camo treatment. I bet you could even use it for medical bandaging.

Good quality wrap
It appears to be good quality wrap for applying. What I don't know for these products is their long term durability but I will find out in time. It's certainly better than an interior product I was given last year. The difference was evident in applying it to a tripod.

A million uses!!
I can't count the things I've wrapped this tape about for better grip and looks. Try a camp axe and you'll see what I mean. Very well made product and does everything the seller says it will do....great product.
