DID 520ERV3-120 Gold Chain with Connecting Link

O.K. It's bike chain. What can I say ? I fitted this to a KLR650 Streetard. It runs freely, makes the bike/transmission feel smoother. Doesn't stretch/wear much. Gold finish makes it stand out. It's not cheap. But I don't belive you will find a better chain . So if you look after your chains and sprockets. It's a good investment...I recomend BEL RAY super clean chain lube. It leaves no sticky tacky mess to attract dirt/abrasives. Give it a try. It's the best I have found in 30 odd years of looking. .However If you leave your dryed out ,dirty chain ,dragging around your hooked sprockets to cut grooves in your swingarm... Don't expect DID ERV 3 to "magicaly" survive the abuse.You may as well Just buy cheap chain , hope you don't get hurt when it lets go and locks up your back wheel!!!

Incredibly smooth. Such good quality and an upgrade from its predecessee. The gold is a nice little farkle for your KLR 650.The d.i.d. chain breaker/rivet tool is obviously a must.

As always, you can’t go wrong with a DID chain. This model has the gold outer and inner plates. Dirt seems to wash off easy and the x-ring design ensures long term service. Combined with a rivet master, it’s almost indestructible.

Glad I listened to the guy that said BUY AN EXTRA MASTER/CONNECTING LINK especially if this is your first rivet-type connecting adventure. I mushed the O-Rings on the first one by forgetting to put the anvil on the back of my chain breaker and pressed the cover on too tight. Would've been pretty upset if I couldn't have test rode the XR650R today.Take a look at the different lengths -- I needed a 110 link but the 120 link was $20-$30 cheaper at $120 which was a great deal for this chain. I shortened it using a chain breaker that you'll need to install this rivet-type connecting link anyways.

High quality, took it straight to Glamis and still seems brand new. Get the special install tool if you are used to clip on master links

Little bit Pricey compare to other hi quality brands but worth it since is a full racing chain, and durability it’s compromised again since is a full racing chain but the magic in all that is WEIGHT!!with this chain and Renthal superlight sprockets conbined, you can reduce the moving mass by 30%!! On top of that, on liter bikes you also make a pitch conversion from 530 to 520, works amazing!

This chain is gold in color... so that already makes you faster than everybody else. When I put this chain on, I thought I was riding Travis Pastrana's bike!! I was so fast and I cleared every jump like a pro.... the only downside I would say is that I can't get the ladies to stop cat-calling me... it makes me feel like a piece of meat and I just don't like all the attention.
