Good idea, poor quality.
Three stars for the good concept and the price. The quality and workmanship though is quite disappointing. Firstly, as it comes, the quick-release hook is too loose and wobbly inside the base, thus cannot keep the camera steady. The included red-washer can help to reduce the wobble somewhat. Secondly, the base looks to be standard GoPro, but too tight to take the authentic GoPro quick-release mounts. If you are thinking to swap different cameras having separate quick-release mounts, look for something else. Finally, the locking mechanism to secure the straps is not reliable. It can go to unlock position unintentionally, thereby allowing the entire assembly to fall off the helmet.
