For a finish saw, will do the job.
Build quality is for gentle work, finish work. Not framing. This is not a framing saw. No ground plug and small cord gauge. Miter is true, minimal blade wandering. Laser is on target. Motion is fairly smooth but not as nice as a high end saw. For the handyman home builder, this is a good finish saw. Will you break it? if you are a rough carpenter yes. For what it was designed for, it is a good value and useful. Pulls about 760 watts. Ample cord size for draw.

Effortless Assembly and Exceptional Quality
I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to assemble this saw from the moment I opened the box. The instructions were ergonomically designed, making it a breeze to follow along and identify all the parts. This was hands down the simplest assembly process I've ever encountered for a complex tool. Kudos to the engineer and ergonomic design team for a job well done! Once assembled, the robust quality and durability of the saw became apparent. It's clear that this product was well-thought-out and built to last. I am highly impressed with the excellent value for the price. Highly recommend this to anyone in need of a reliable tool!

Great saw, great support!
This saw is amazing. Super smooth ball bearing slides, smooth starting motor, lots of power to cut through steel, which is the reason I bought it. It's also super lightweight so it's easy to move around. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and wish I bought it sooner! I did have to call Evolution because I wanted to buy a clamp that hooks on the front of the saw and clamps material back against the vertical fence. They exist, but I couldn't find them on their website. One call, 2 minutes on hold and I got a super nice rep who helped me place my order and the parts were in the mail immediately. Can't say enough great things about this company and this saw. Worth every penny.

Missing part
So far my husband likes the saw. It has a clean cut and very easy to use. It is light weight and easy to move around. The only thing is that I didn't receive the dust bag and they are not able to replace missing parts. I can return it but I'm not going through the hassle just for a dust bag.

Buy This Saw!
What a fantastic saw! It cuts thick metal smoother than anything else!!! I recommend ordering a blade with more teeth, it comes with a 20 tooth blade. I had an issue with my saw, wasn't sure if it happened in shipping or was done by me... I called them, no questions asked. I had the replacement part in 3 days!!! Exceptional Customer Service 👌 The call was also answered Very Quickly. Highly Recommend 👍👍

Inexpensive tool with more than enough precision
For the price, I didn’t expect a tool as well made, as smooth operating, and with the level of precision this one has. Big bonus… it accepts 5/8 inch arbor blades in addition to the oddball 20mm it comes with. There is a thick black washer between the blade and the motor. Pull it off, flip it around and you have a 5/8 inch arbor. I had wasted a lot of time searching for a special purpose 20mm blade, couldn’t find any. Thought I would have to buy a different tool, then I remembered reading a review that pointed out this saw can use 5/8 as well. Lots of blades available in 5/8, glad I remembered this before I bought something else. This ability to use a different, standard sized arbor makes this unit a terrific buy!
