Needs new firmware
The monitor is great but every time I turn it on I need to select hdmi entry. Ideally will go directly to that when it gets power.After the seller sent me the firmware and the instructions and after having a couple of problems with the installation (had to reboot twice) now it is working perfectly!I will give 5 stars but the firmware update should be included already

Strange resolution
The size was perfect for what I wanted but the resolution is very strange and looks too pixelated

Unique LCD screen for Unique Uses.
Used this as an external monitor for a dashboard for sim racing. Worked as advertised, however in order to get a proper aspect ratio/resolution. I needed to make a custom resolution in my graphics card settings To display it properly. Also mounting this was a challenge. Otherwise for the price it did everything I needed.

Nice monitor. Make sure you feed it enough power.
Decent little monitor. I'm a fan that it doesn't use a flat ribbon cable, but instead uses wires with connectors that are much more durable and can stand up nicely to small amounts of use and abuse.Be sure you have a power supply that can produce 12v 2a or more. But even at 2a, if you use a power brick that claims it's capable but really isn't, the monitor / control board won't function properly. Plugging in one of those (lying power supply) in my setup caused the monitor to power cycle literally every second. Using an uprated brick of 12v 3a solved that.Outside of the power issues, it's a solid monitor setup. Going to use it for a dmd display on a small virtual pinball cabinet.

Without the firmware, this just isn't worth it.
Wanted to use for a Virtual Pinball machine, but it doesn't auto to hdmi on boot on windows. Instead, you need to need to use the annoying osd every time.Supposedly there is firmware to correct this, but after multiple attempts at contacting the seller, I still haven't been able to get this.Such high hopes, but ultimately not worth it.

Great little monitor!
Bought this monitor to use as a DMD screen in a virtual pinball machine build I’ve been working on (if not familiar, it’s the small screen that shows the score as you’re playing). It’s been perfect! Looks great, no issues, worked right out of the box. I definitely recommend.
