It works
You can cut the lures in quarters and make four traps . Take any plastic container, I used a jar some mixed nuts came in , then cut three or four dime size holes near the top . I put pink paint around the holes to make it look like flowers . Fill the jar half full with water and dish soap . I fed a wire through the lid then through the lure so the lure is held in place under the lid and you can use the wire to hang the trap . When it fills up replace the water not the lure . You will catch hundreds.

Kills Japanese Bettles dead.
Most effective Japanese bettle killer I have found. Difficult at times to set up, but one in place it protect your valuable flower. Needs to be changed every three to four days due to the odor. I live in the country and the wild animal attack the bags at night. Something about the smell that attracts them.

Really works but beware!
As many articles claim, you may attract many more beetles with this trap than would otherwise be in your garden. This year for some reason, there were swarms of them, thousands were attracted to my traps and they were feeding off of plants in the vicinity. I moved the trap and it seemed to help. Now things have settled down, maybe I caught so many, they were depopulated, not sure, but it's a very effective trap, maybe too effective.

Work really well
We have an acre and a quarter of it is a vegetable garden. Japanese beetles used to devastate the basil. Six traps around the entire area has kept all but a few out of the garden.
