Old Spice Classic Deodorant Stick Original 3.25 Oz (Pack of 6)

BackgroundFor many years I wore antiperspirant thinking I needed to block the sweat. A few years ago I deiced to transition to a homemade deodorant and the Original Old Spice since I have always been fond of the scent profile. I would always buy the two pack when on sale, but decided to look on Amazon and found this six pack for a much better deal. I average about one a month, so I should get at least six months use out of this order. I added it to my subscribe and save for every six months and now I don't need to keep an eye out for when they are on sale locally.Use/PerformanceWhile it may not be sufficient odor protection for all day, manual labor in the heat, it works well enough for me sitting at a desk all day without clogging my sweat pores. It also goes on smooth and makes you smell and feel fresh. In the Summer and when I will be out and about, I start with a base layer of my homemade deodorant, let it dry, then put on Old Spice. It keeps odor to a minimum without clogging your pores.

There are a lot of different variations and scents in the deodorant world, but Old Spice is a classic that never gets old. As I am female and just bought this product for my husband, I can only personally testify to the very appealing scent of the product itself. It has a very light scent that can decrease throughout the day, though the effectiveness of the odor protection does not – oftentimes lasting through to the next day. As a testimony from my husband, he has used this product faithfully for over a decade and it has never let him down.Pertaining to this particular order, the product stands up to our particular standard. I opened the package as soon as I got it and all of the deodorants seem to be “fresh” and of quality, though we only took a seal off of the one that my husband intended to start using. The other five seem to be of the same quality but, if for any reason I find out otherwise, I'll be sure to edit this rating to say so.The price is also very reasonable for this. I know that you can sometimes find them a bit cheaper per-deodorant in stores, although in most cases the difference is just mere pennies. In my particular area it is often hard to find the original scent, so ordering this way is definitely more convenient.

Did you know that Old Spice is actually a designer French fragrance?No, of course you didn't. But it is. It was marketed to the USA back when men would not buy such things, so the marketers gave it a USA fifties style name: Old Spice.Before I learned this fun fact, Old Spice (the classic scent) was kind of seen as the older guy's out of date version of Hi Karate, Sex Panther, or other 1970's line of silly men's fragrances. Even back then, Old Spice had a long history.It dates back when anything meant for men leaned on practicality: a good bourbon, a good steak, a good power tool, etc. Things that work. Your grandfather wasn't stupid.Old Spice has now added some trendy offerings to its line. But I feel they'll eventually learn, much like Coca-Cola did a while back ago, that is best to stick with what works.Bottom line. It smells good and is priced nicely.

If you like the smell of Old Spice...it's been around forever...then you'll like this product. It's easy to apply and it works pretty well for me. I like the scent, which is clean and not overwhelming.The price point for this deodorant is about as good as you can find on line. You get more product, packaged nicely, for a lot less than some of the other name brands, which honestly, I haven't found work as well.There are lots of different scents you can get in this brand, but I just like the old original one.

I've been a user of Old Spice deodorant for around twenty years. The smell is fantastic - I love catching a whiff as I go about my day. I've always found the consistency of these gel-style deodorants to be really interesting - to the point that I wish there was a food with the same texture. I took a bit chomp of one of these sticks and I have to say, it's truly phenomenal. The flavor leaves a little to be desired - mostly glycerol and alcohol behind the musky scent, with a whiff of my own underarms. Deducted 1 longevity point because it tends to dry out fairly quickly.

Old Spice Classic Deodorant has always been my go-to, so it’s disappointing that it’s no longer easily available in Australia. The scent is timeless—clean, masculine, and instantly recognizable without being overpowering. It lasts well through the day and just feels reliable. Nothing else quite compares. Old Spice really is the best, and I keep coming back to it whenever I can find it, which is here.Thanks to the sellers who sell it to us Aussies!

The lids on 5 out of 6 of the items were broken. Unhygienic.
