Nice idea, but I wasn't successful with them
I have mixed feelings about these. I bought the set in an attempt to speed up the process of radiusing fretboards (obviously!), and so far I've only used one of them. The reason is that the result from my first experiment was rather poor - the cut was uneven, and I ended up having to sand the fretboard down very low using a traditional radiusing block.I think that my problem is the quality of my routing table and fence, which are home made and not terribly precise. If you have a precision routing setup, these might work fine, and I wouldn't want to put anybody off buying them who has this. My experience, however, was not positive, and for my next fretboard I went back to planing and sanding. As far as the quality of the products is concerned, they look fairly decent, and they come in a nice wooden box.At the end of the day, if you have a good router table with a very solid fence and you're interested in trying these out, I'd probably suggest just buying one of them and giving it a spin. The price per bit is significantly higher if you buy them individually, but then if, like me, you don't really get along with them, at least you haven't spent so much money.I'd be very interested to see other people's reviews of these bits, so if you try them then I'd urge you to review them too!
