I am a working musician using IEMs weekly. I have bought other cords in the past and they are okay, but these I will use until they die and buy them again. The main reason is that they sound great, but a lot of ear bud cords also sound great too… these cords come with a little ball slider (not sure what the technical name is for this) that keeps the split end from getting tangled. That might not seem to be a big deal for you, but for me it is everything! My IEMs are constantly in and out of a gig bag. My old cord gets tangled soooo easily, especially at the part that hooks around your earlobe. I like to show up to a gig and have everything ready to rock in the shortest amount of time. Dealing with tangled cords is a hassle that I don’t want to deal with. It’s sounds stupid, but being able to grab this cord out of the case and put them right on without detangling a mess of wires saves time and aggregation! A+ for these just because of the extra piece that slides up and keeps them from being a tangled mess night after night.

Chord is way too short. If I'm sitting playing drums, I can't put my phone on the floor because it won't reach. The little ball that is supposed to keep the in-ears together slips right down as soon as they are in, and the plastic that is goes behind your ear is super flimsy. The effect is that the in-ears themselves don't feel secure in your ear, even with a good seal. The sound quality is fine, it's just the practicality of them is not great.

This was the right price point for me. Thicker than what came with my IEM. Feels less fragile. Ear wire could be stronger; it doesn't stay bent very well. It's not enough of a problem that don't use it or recommend it. I only mention it in case it is important to you that it be strong

These cables are a fantastic replacement for the ones that came with my KZ AS10. I'd say it sounds even better than the original cables, so it might be an upgrade if you're looking to spend the money. Great for listening to sad songs when you're depressed. Honestly I don't even know why I'm reviewing a earphone cables. Just something to do I guess.

Better quality cable than the one that came with my CCA C12's. I like the black color as well, just in general better quality and thicker cable.

The iem cable that came with my stuff was bad. This is comfy.
