Coolibar UPF 50+ Men's Women's Mackinac Sun Bandana - Sun Protective

I bought this for my husband who works outside most days (construction). I had previously ordered him a royal blue Coolibar bandana years ago that he uses daily...so much, in fact, that he has worn holes in to it which sort of defeats the purpose of blocking him from the sun. Coolibar seems to have really phased out men's bandanas which is unfortunate, and he really dislikes the look of the gaiters. This was my only option for a replacement where as when I ordered him his first one, there was a much wider variety of colors. To me, this is a very, very unattractive brown/grey color. It's that color that will make lighter skin tones look kind of sickly (for example, I'm pretty pale and it looks absolutely awful against me). My husband is way more tan than me and it looks much better on him, but just something to keep in mind. I wish they'd make this in more colors. Also, the light REALLY shines through this big time when you hold it up to the sun, so it makes me wonder how effective the UPF protection actually is which is the main point of buying a $24 bandana. Lastly, Coolibar customer service isn't the most friendly I've ever come across.

The bandana has sufficient material cover your face, even when folded with 4 layers over your nose and mouth. Plenty long to tie easily. The material is soft and comfortable. Moisture does not build up making it comfortable to wear for an hour or more. Dries quickly. I wash mine in cool water and air dry on the ironing board or hanger. It is practically wrinkle free.I would purchase another for my self or as a gift.

The fabric of this bandana is/reminds me to the outdoors shirts that some men wears when fishing🐟.I was expecting something more like licra or so. Anyway I got use to, and it works.Btw, this fabric gets static cling, and this is the only thing that I don’t like, versus price.

I have been using Coolibar products for a while now, and continue to be pleased with both the quality of the material and the sun protection they give. This scarf is beautiful and fashionable. The silky material washes out easily and dries quickly, which is great for travel. I recommend it.

This is my 2nd Coolibar sun protecive scarf that I have purchased. I love the gingham print. It is fresh and fun. The scarf is silky and lightweight and stylish. I like the shorter length. I think it’s a combination of both retro and modern. I especially like that it protects my neck from the sun. I paid it with several of my Coolibar tips.

It’s perfect for what I needed to wear for dining out. I wanted something a little nicer to wear as a mask but easy to pull up & down as needed. These are also great when walking to pull up when you meet another walker or jogger and for sun protection of your neck( my other concern) .

The material wicks away sweat, has performed as promised to protect my neck from sun damage, and continues to look great despite numerous washings.

Nice color. Size is good. Light weight fabric.
