Audubon Birds Page-A-Day Calendar 2020 Calendar – Day to Day Calendar, July 23, 2019

As a brand new “birder,” I am learning so much about birds and have come to appreciate the role of the National Audubon Society in bird conservation. I have purchased this calendar and the Audubon 2020 Songbird wall calendar in an effort to recognize more birds in my area. I absolutely love both calendars! This one in particular is a lovely addition to my office desk, and the photographs are truly stunning.I have noticed that other reviewers are commenting that the holder and tear-away format of this calendar are a “downgrade” from prior years, but since I am unfamiliar with old versions, I can’t speak to that aspect. I will say that I am perfectly content with this edition — the plastic holder does not detract at all from my enjoyment of this stunning calendar and its colorful birds! I highly recommend this calendar for anyone with an appreciation for the beauty of nature. 🌿🐦

Most of us were disappointed when they switched to the smaller, cheaper, tear-off format for this calendar. Well, it is still the same cheap format with yellow plastic holder, but at least they removed the red and yellow Audubon "error" stamp on each photo (a deal breaker for me!). They also added moon phases and removed the red text. I bumped it up to three stars because of these positive changes. Until they switch back to the better format, I suggest removing it from the yellow holder and using a clear plexiglass holder from the previous version calendar. It fits awkwardly and isn't as classy as the larger format, but at least it is less of an eye sore than yellow plastic. See photos. I wish they would at least use a more neutral color like black (and switch the text back to black to match- now it is blue). I'm still wondering why they don't offer this in the larger format. The pictures are worth it.

This is my second year buying the Audubon’s page a day calendar. I really enjoy the photos and I like how the birds are from all over the world, not necessarily just North American birds. Some of the birds featured have really compelled me to do some research and read/learn more about them. Great calendar!

I love the colors. Very beautiful photography. The only negative review that I could give is that I wish each bird photo included a location of where the species lived. It would have been nice to include "North America," "South America," etc. It is also a little bigger than I expected, but still fits well on my desk.

A unique bird for every day! The imagery is quite lovely, and having a page each day gives a little something to look forward to with each turn. Also the backs make good scratch paper. I've written plenty of little notes for friends on them, and they always love getting them for the birds. :)

Beautiful and high-quality photos. Better than I expected for a tear off calendar. The variety of birds is great. I bought one for my grandmother who Is a bird lover and was so impressed that I ordered another as a gift for my best friend. I am barely resisting buying one for myself…

But somewhat disappointing. The pictures are great but other than the name there is no info on the birds. I wish there were it would be a good way to learn.

My husband has bought me this calendar every year for probably a decade now. It’s awesome, and I love learning the names of birds. The really cute ones I keep and put up so I can see them whenever I want to

Absolutely beautiful. Pictures are big , colourful. I really enjoyed discovering a new picture of a bird each day. I bought another for 2021 and love it too, and I will buy another one for next year. Definitively recommend it.

Beautiful photos, completely spoiled by the cheap looking yellow plastic holder-absolutely hideous!

Lovely pics but chunks of days come off if you’re not careful.

Would be better if the picture captions said where the picture was taken, or where the birds can be found
