Capital Costumes Character Beard with Elastic (Black)

i love the fact that this beard doesn't require glue or any adhesives. It attaches with just a piece of elastic and easy for young children to take on and off. I used it with a box of disguises in a childcare center dramatic play area and set up a large mirror and had a collection of hats, wigs, silly glasses, etc. It was a huge hit and the children had a great time laughing and interacting in new ways.

Even for the affordable price, this thing is so insanely cheap. Hairs are falling out so much it may as well have alopecia. Material is just so bad. The band breaks more tragically than The Beatles. Don't buy this garbage, it's utterly useless unless you're dressing up as a cat and you want to cough up a hairball for accuracy. It also took forever to get here. I kinda wish it took even longer.

Hair falls out of the mesh foundation. I was spitting out plastic string for half the night. Luckily Halloween only comes once a year. Had to give it at least three though since it at least looked like a beard and it kept my face warm.

Great little item and at a reasonabe price! Used by a 10 year old for a civil war project. Fit his face perfectly and was quite thick and impressive in appearance.

Nice beard but too fragile. Broke easily. Will probably hot glue it back together

I bought these for my cousin's wedding - for us bridesmaids to wear. The groom has a beard (Duck Dynasty style) and we thought it'd be hilarious to have fake beards for us. It went over well. Minus all the black hair from these beards. Everyone loved them and the groom ended up stealing them all and wearing them during the reception. I'm giving the rating a 4 because of the shed aspect of the beards. And for $5.99/each I didn't expect awesome quality, but I didn't expect $2 quality either. But yea, I'd purchase them again if needed.

The fit itself is good but it sheds everywhere. I wasn't expecting much for the price, but I wouldn't buy it again. As soon as we put it on my husbands face it got in his mouth and stuck to his lips. Big chunks just fell off . I was not expecting quality but you're better off going to the craft store and buying a better fabric to make if yourself.

Cheaply made. I will need to trim the nose area to make it fit nicer on my face. Currently the top jams into my nose. Would not buy again. But need something for my costume so I'm keeping it.

Super disappointed with the quality of this product for the price point. The beard hairs fall everywhere which is annoying...probably not even worth 2$.
