WWE: The Attitude Era Hardcover – May 12, 2015

Great book, defentinely deserves the buy if you want to be entertained in a sense. I bought it for an essay I was writing about the Attitude Era, and I expected it to have all the bits and pieces regarding that era; it rather had what superstars thought about the era and the most memorable 'wrestlers' back then.If you're really into that era, i would recommend you check the following: This book, 'WWE 50' book, the Monday Night War series on the WWE Network, and the rise and fall of WCW (also found on the network).

This is a Christmas present for my 15 yr old daughter who is a huge wrestling fan, but I sat and read every page before I wraped it!!!!! Awesome awesome awesome!!!!!!!!! I know people say wresting is fake, but if you read about a lot of the wrestlers there are a lot of injuries, so the wrestling moves are not fake. Get this book and check it out!!!!!

Awesome book with tons of pictures from the Attitude Era, not a ton of personal stories but there are a few pages worth at the very end. I liked how they didn't edit anything out (Chris Benoit, Chyna, TNA, etc). Perfect book to leave out in a table in your man cave.

The company even sent a free DVD. Very good condition since it was used.

The item caem within the time frame, and it arrived in perfect conditions, WITH the bottle opener.The book itself was for a gift, but I took a peek and absolutely wanted to keep it for myself, it looks amazing!

This book goes over the entire Monday Night War and what is now called the Attitude Era in great detail from an outside Kayfabe (In storyline) perspective. With over 200 fully colored and nicely printed pages, this is definitely worth the price of admission.

Okay, so the bottle opener is cool as hell. Let's get that out of the way. As for the book itself, it's a pretty extensive look at the key moments and figures of the Attitude Era, but it's not for the casual fan / reader. A lot of times the book jumped right into talking about subjects with barely a sentence worth of context to set it up. It's a great read if you already know a ton about wrestling and its 90's history. If not, you might be a touch lost at times. Nothing a quick Google search wouldn't fix, but it might be annoying.

Das Buch ist sehr kurzweilig, interessant und bietet über 200 Seiten Hochglanzfotos und nette Hintergrundberichte. Wie der Titel vermuten lässt handelt es einzig und allein von der "Attitude" Ära und den "Monday Night Wars". Gerade zu diesem (für Wrestling Fans) sehr interessantem Thema gibt es unzählige Literatur und DVDs, aber so interessant beschrieben und mit Bildern manifestiert ist sehr wenig. Die Biographien einiger Wrestler mal außen vor. Habe den Kauf nicht bereut und war überrascht, dass ein "StoneCold" Flaschenöffner im Deckel des Buches eingelassen ist. Im Regal zieht es auch immer wieder Blicke von Freunden und Bekannten auf sich die dann (nicht Wrestling Fans) interessiert drin blättern für sie bekannten Namen suchen. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

The book is a cool piece of memorabilia in a way, even though it was released in 2015. Very informative about the Attitude Era, great photos and some interesting stories and tidbits that you may not know. Perfect for anyone who even watched a bit of the Attitude Era/WWE growing up in the late 90's.

So satisfied with this purchase! This is every delicious detail you could possibly want regarding the greatest era to date for the WWE. I was extremely pleased to discover that this book includes matches involving Benoit. Cover to cover is full colour pages with timelines, facts, and a closing chapter ushering in the Invasion era and laying the founding bricks for Ruthless Aggression. The Stone Cold bottle opener was a nice touch, I only wish there wasn't a cut out in the front hardcover to accommodate it.

An amazing book! I have watched every episode of Monday Night RAW since 1994 so this book brought back all the memories of the golden Attitude Era. The writing is not too deep which enables it to cover many many storylines and backstage views. The book is complimented with many amazing images and does not focus solely on your Austins, Rocks & HBKs. There is plenty of your Gangrels, Val Venis' & Godfathers in there too! The Vince 'foreword' taken straight from his original declaration of the Attitude Era was a nice touch and the book breaks Kayfabe which was necessary for it to stand on it's own two feet as a legitimate re-telling of some of the greatest moments in TV history (IMO).The book is well constructed, full glossy colour with nice thick pages. The Steveweiser 3:16 bottle opener is magnetic and looks awesome on the Fridge door!(bottom line)
