Automatic Bobbin Winder for Sewing Machine Electric Bobbin Winding
I just received my Bobbin Winder today and I have put it together, it was easy to assemble, however the directions leave a lot to be desired. However there is a video online at Amazon to help if you have issues. Make sure you put the plate on right side up, I screwed up the 1st time and viewed the video and realized what I had done. I use 15J Singer bobbins, and it works great, and I have no complaints. I hate unthreading my machine to fill a bobbin when I fail to fill enough for the job. I have some larger spools that will not fit, but I have a thread stand I purchased at Amazon some time ago if I need to refill bobbins from a larger spool. Works great, very fast at winding the bobbin and stops itself. Very pleased and worth the money to me.

Works great!
The media could not be loaded. This worked great for me right out of the box. I did notice that when using it the thread coming off the spool jumped around and wrapped around the thread going down from the pole to the tensioner and caused it to jump, when that happened the bobbin slipped up and the thread spun around under the bobbin and caused the thread to break. Aside from that it works great.UPDATE:So after using this for several months In I still think it is great. I have used it to wind maybe 500 bobbins at this point and the only issue i have had with it is similar to one others have mentioned the bobbin sometimes pops off. For those that have our may have that issues it is a minor inconvenience, but I have a simple solution. if you take another bobbin and place it on top of the one that is winding you can apply a small amount of pressure and keep it in place. now I just do it all the time and works great. I usually wind 20 bonbons at a time with it and have no problems. I uploaded a video showing what I mean about keeping the bobbins in place.

Never Been So Dissatisfied.
Absolute junk. Item arrived looking used & missing parts. Was pictured to have a thread stand...did not. Also just lose in the box, zero description. Got it installed, went to use it & the machine rattles & sounds like a gear is out. It does run, as mentioned, doesn't sound right, but it spins AT LIGHT SPEED! I understand this speed is actually correct. If the thread comes lose it will spin out 10 yards of thread before you can stop it. Spins WAY to fast. I have never been so dissatisfied with a product...ever.

Works as advertised - bobbins in a flash
Assembly is easy but other reviewers are right - the directions are fairly useless. I still haven't figured out why I have four screws for which there appears to be no use, and no instructions for use. I'm not very mechanical, but assembly was pretty obvious to me. I thought the operation was pretty intuitive, as well.Reduced by one star because the product photos and description are somewhat misleading. The base plate does not extend as far as the picture shows, and there isn't room for a 5500M Glide thread spool. A 2000 yard spool does fit. I put the Glide spool next to the spool holder and threaded it in the stand, and it worked fine. I don't recommend using the built-in spool holder with stack-wound thread, either. I intend to use my Superior Threads thread stand if I wind spools (and I will).Otherwise, works like a charm and is really fast. I like that the tension can be adjusted, which was a problem with my sewing machine bobbin winder - with smooth thread like trilobar polyester, I had to hold the thread to get enough tension for it to wind.I do a lot of sewing and have bought a lot of prewound bobbins. Now, I can make my own!

Works great
I bought a cheaper one and returned it. This one is sturdier, mostly all metal and it works just fine with my Pfaff machine, some that are so old their bobbin winders don't work any more (and so old that parts to fix them are no longer available). It was pretty easy to put together, but the instructions were sort of worthless, it might have helped if the pictures had been larger and not so fuzzy. This one was for my home sewing studio, but we also bought one for the costume shop at the theatre where I work and there, besides several older Pfaff machines, we also have others, including an industrial and it works fine on all of them.

Winds bobbins quickly
Highly recommend. Winds bobbins quickly. I do a lot of sewing and wind lots of bobbins. Don't waste your money on the plastic re-winders, they are junk.

It winds well
The media could not be loaded. So, the bottom line is it works with a different set up and winds the bobbin tight. Having said that, the thread holder is loose. The holder is longer than the legs of the machine. You can see in the video. Perhaps I did it wrong, but if I made it right, the extension would hold the winder up and off the legs and make it wobble. I bought this because my heavy duty bobbin winder for my Sweet Sixteen machine M bobbins pooped out. It will work until I get the motor fixed on my heavy duty one. It should work just right for regular machine bobbins using standard size thread spools, if you can stabilize the thread holder.

Nice
I like the smoothness after bobbin winding. Convenient to use. Read instructions before using as how to make adjustments to suit your individual needs.
