RockportWomen's Ridge Slingback Sandal

My review on these are mixed! They are my first pair of Rockports, and I find it strange that are NOT leather! Going back and reading the description, it does say "man made material"......so that is on me. The sole is a thick, sturdy nonslip synthetic. Well, all reviews reporting the ribbon between the toes is tight, are CORRECT! I think the problem is the angle of installation is off and slants too much. THE up side of that is, the shoe foes NOT flop on the foot making that horrid "flapping" noise. The "fix" for the poor positioning of the toe ribbon was to cut the heel strap off! I know.....ridiculous, but that allows less pressure on the foot to force it against the ribbon! Makes all the difference in the comfort! Because the top of the shoe encompasses the sides of your foot, it stays in place perfectly. The heel strap is not needed at all!Now for the fantastic part....the foot bed is extremely comfortable, cushy and sinks wonderfully, but maintains all support, including the heel! They are also very cute, there are tiny metal rivets in the design that give an added pizzazz. So, I do recommend them as long as you are prepared to cut the heel strap off if you need too. We should not need to alter a new shoe, I admit, but it is what it is and the price in n or bad. Hope this helps with your decision!

These are very comfortable. Great support and heel comfort. I have both flat feet and plantar fasciitis and wearing sandal's for an extended period of time I usually end up with back pain and/or my heel killing me. However, that has not been a problem with these sandal's... they are designed well, comfortable, and good looking.

I normally get vionic sandals but decided to try these since the price is so much better. They're super comfortable! The sole is supportive and nicely cushioned. I don't think they have as much arch support as vionic sandals but the heel is supported and the cushioning absorbs the impact of your heel hitting the pavement really nicely.

Can I just say I wish I could give Rockport some kind of medal for making such a great pair of shoes!! I have plantar fasciatis, my feet are in pain every single day all day. I was searching for shoes with arch support, and discovered these. The day they arrived and I tried them on, I literally cried tears of joy. I recently went to a event and wore these and my feet felt good all day. If you are looking for a comfortable pair of shoes I strongly suggest these. THANK YOU ROCKPORT YOU ARE SIMPLY THE BEST!

It is very difficult to find comfortable dressier sandals when you have plantar fasciitis and arthritis in your feet. These have fairly good arch support but could use some more. I have a slightly narrower than a "B" (medium width) and these fit well without gaping around the upper. However, my little toe hangs over a bit on both sandals. The Velcro strap is too short and offers too little adjustment. For the price, you would think another 3/4" of Velcro would be included. So far, my walks around the house have been comfortable.If it matters, white is actually off white as my photo with the foam spacer shows.

I have am medium weight and have feet problems so finding a comfortable shoe really hard to find.Until I bought a pair of these through FullBeauty and from the first time I tried them on until I started walking in them it was like were you been all my life.When you walk the back of your heel in majority of shoes gives you are hard impact,which is tuff when you have achillies tenditis like me.But with this shoe it has a heel impact equavelent to landing your heel on Temper Pedic Mattress.And it springs right back.I loved this shoe so much I bought another pair through Amazon.I can wear this shoe from the time I get up until it is time to take off at bedtime.That is how comfortable they are and I would recommend them to anyone.You can wear these at any occasion.I really love this shoe.

There was a time when the only thing that mattered to me about a pair of shoes was how they looked. That time is long gone. My poor feet have suffered for my choices in younger years. Last summer I finally succumbed to the inevitable necessity of surgery on both feet. (Not recommended unless absolutely necessary.) A year later I can walk again, without pain! Yay! But finding shoes that will keep my feet fit and look good at the same time is a challenge, especially summer-friendly shoes.Ordering shoes online is a crapshoot at best, but I do know what I need as far as sandals go: good arch support and a back-strap (I had two hammertoes - what a horrible term! - corrected during my surgeries; grasping a shoe bed with my toes to keep them on my feet was one of the reasons I developed hammertoes to begin with). What I also want is to have fashionable feet! These sandals hit every mark. I've only had them for a week or so but I just got back from a quick trip to Bentonville, Arkansas and wore them everywhere. I walked several miles around the Crystal Bridges Museum and biked around town for several hours in these sandals. They were terrific. No negatives at all.I will say that when I first got them and realized they were made in China, I almost sent them back. I try to support local and national businesses as much as I can and much prefer items made in the US. Guiltily, I made an exception in this case because they felt so good.

I have Charcot foot with my right foot. I need insoles to protect from further damage. I never thought I'd be able to wear cute sandals again. With Rockport I am able to have the support I need and not have to use the insoles but have the cute style too. I am thrilled.

I am in my 20's but I do a ton of walking.. normally i wear birks, keens, or munroe.. so not exactly fashionable, but who cares when they are so comfortable and durable! I've been caught in the rain in these, ran 2 km in them one evening.. honestly.. they are fantastic and I will buy more. Comfort is #1 for me when it comes to walking sandals and these are perfect!

Although they fit a little loosely, I have kept them and wear them without any problems. They are comfortable despite the slightly wide fit, probably thanks to the back strap keeping them on. Happy with my purchase.

I really like the look of these shoes and they seem comfortable, but as others have said, they are made for a large foot (I can fit 3 fingers between my foot and the top/side of the shoe). The footbed is the right size, so ordering a smaller size would not make them fit better. They are really just best suited for a larger foot.

I love these shoes. I have osteoarthritis and degenerative disc disease and my back used to ache after walking for just one-half hour. I wear these shoes everywhere I go and my back has been great! They are comfortable, yet stylish. I would definitely order another pair!!!

so this sucks, I LOVED these sandals. I have plantar fasciitis and they were insanely comfortable. however after not even a week of wear they became unstitched.im super surprised because they seemed lile decent quality however after reading reviews I realize this seems to be a fairly common issue
